Is this rated any good amongst you mobile phone experts, just been offered one when I went to renew my contract

I am no mobile phone guru so not really wanting out that's to complicated, as long as I can phone out and send a text message I will be happy;)

Looks a bit basic but it will do what you want.

Depends whether you're getting a good deal - what are they offering (and for how long)?

24 months, £15 a month for 200 minutes and 500 messages.

On average I do about 130 minutes and 350 messages a month the past couple of years

Here's a tool for searching the internet for the best deals out there:

Looks like you have the best readily available deal but they're not offering you anything to reflect your loyalty. For a renewal I would hope they would knock a few quid off to retain your business.

Thats a pretty old phone as well - I know you don't need it to do much but they're not doing you any favours with the device, especially given that it's a 2 year deal.

If I were you I would try and push them for a Blackberry Bold 9700 (similar style to the e72 but a better phone) or if you fancy something a bit different TalkMobile (Vodafone network rebadged as Carphone Warehouse) are offering an £18 per month deal on an HTC Desire or £12 per month deal on an HTC Wildfire

Cheers for that Boris, all noted will have a look about in due course

ive got an e71 and its shit

has to be reset at least once a day and is very slow & clunky

as a phone its ok although the 3G coverage/reception is flaky at best so doing anything remotely data intensive on it, like reading a website:oops: is pretty shit

HTH

EDIT just googled it and it looks the same.. my advise avoid

To save another phone thread.

I have a question regarding the HTC Desire HD. I'm looking at getting one of these for our lass and the deal i'm looking at has 500MB of data. How much the data will be used by using the free Android Sat Nav App? If you use the sat nav for a couple of hours does this use up data?
