Good Morning, Lads & Lasses.

Hopefully, you all remembered to put your clocks & watches forward this morning. ๐Ÿ‘

There's no footy on the telly, again today.
Nada, niete, niets, nichts, nowt.

Reading the papers, washing the car, and cooking the dinner, (mince, mashed tatties & dumplings with veg) will keep me occupied today.

Whatever you all get up to today, stay safe and enjoy your day, everyone.

It's definitely a day for staying indoors today.
Stay safe and enjoy your day, mate. ๐Ÿ‘

Today hasn't been a complete write off, mind.
Early this morning, I was truly spoiled for choice on the Beeb.
The lovely Helen Skelton was on BBC2, while at the same time, over on BBC1, the equally lovely Nina Warhurst, was reading the breakfast news. โค ๐Ÿ˜
Proper telly heaven. ๐Ÿ‘

Aye picked some up on Friday, I prefer Swedish Blonde personally as not a massive fan of darker ales, DM is okay if there's nothing else!
I think I like the sound of raspberry porter

Snowing here in DH3. That hard snow that bounces off you. And it looks cold. So think Iโ€™ll have a day inside.

Is there any footy on the telly ?
Morning EM
A wise choice to have a day indoors today.
If you have a looksee, you might just find some live footy somewhere, on one of the more obscure channels.
Stay safe and have a good day, mate ๐Ÿ‘

Morning lads. I feel a bit better after yesterday.

A lady from the council phoned as my details had been passed on as a vulnerable person. She's left her phone number and some other numbers that I can ring if I need any help and they will get me sorted. The government list I am on will be going to the supermarkets in the next few days, so hopefully one of them can offer me a regular delivery slot for food shopping. If not, there are people who will take a list and money from me and go and do it at the shops for me.

The local councillor got in touch and offered to run errands. I was worried about Bob's prescription but I can order and pay for it over the phone and she'll pick it up from the vets for me and anything else I need. My chemist probably does deliveries or I can send my son along as it's just under a mile away so walkable.

Ocado have already been with the shopping that I'd done before they locked their website down. I managed to get a click and collect slot from Sainsburys tomorrow for the rest. Might go in the car for that one as it's a van in the car park, so I can get the bairn to get out and ask the driver to put the shopping in the car boot and I'll not have any contact with anyone. If not, I'm sure the councillor will either collect it or find someone else who can pick it up.

Gym instructor put an online timetable on last night and he's putting workouts on from tomorrow, so I'll have a go at them.

Cleaning the oven today. It's been manky for ages but I really hate doing it! Had the shelves soaking overnight so will get cracking later on.

Sorry for being miserable lately. Everything just seemed so bleak and I was struggling to cope with the big change in routine and I'm an independent so and so and hate asking for help.

Have a good day all :)

I've never tried it but I don't actually mind a fruit porter, Titanic Plum Porter is lush but it's hardly a session ale, that's why I prefer IPA types, more quaffable!
Yes I think I only like the dark ales a couple at a time

Morning Becs.
You sound a bit more chipper.
We are staying at home as much as possible but popping out every couple of days for โ€˜thingsโ€™. So if you get stuck let me know and Iโ€™ll pick something up for you. Itโ€™s not far to Houston.

Fantastic that help is at hand, at last, and things are looking decidedly rosier for you today. ๐Ÿ‘
It's ok to be a miserable cow now and then ๐Ÿ˜‰ (just kidding) as we all still love you anyway, and you have no need whatsoever, to aplologise. ๐Ÿ˜˜
These are very trying times for us all, and sometimes we have bad days, but we'll get through this somehow.
You take care and have a good day lass x
