Doubt it was that much tbh mate

Bookies are terrified of any money in markets like this where some people WILL know who is being considered. I was looking at McInnes odds on Skybet and saw Clough move from 3/1 (already by far the lowest) to 7/4.

They’ll probably have taken a bet or two on him and don’t want any more liability so have just slashed him. Someone may be itk but sheep may see this and follow the money. Saw it as an opportunity for a bit of an arb so tried to hoy a tenner on him at Betfred 33/1 to quickly lay off but they only accepted £7 odd of it. Now I can’t get in my Betfair account anyway so for the sake of £7 I’ll leave it for now.

Be canny from my betting point of view if it’s him mind!

If you want someone to stop us getting relegated he's your man, but forget promotion regardless of how long we give him.
If people think McInnes is no good because of his time at Bristol City then they need to talk to Derby County supporters.

Awful manager.

Don't think we should be looking at either as our manager, but it appears that's the market we are in
If it was a choice between Clough and McInnes.
I would go for McInnes. He is an unknown quantity that might just come good.
Clough has had big opportunities at Derby and Sheffield and hasn't been up to the job
