Nicknames at work

"Dr No" - IT manager with a PhD (and liked telling people about it) who would chase you if you asked for new hardware or software.

The others I can think of are current colleagues and thus classified!

Just seen this thread on twitter. Sure some on here must have worked/gone to school with some people with great nicknames...

Favourite-guy who walked hunched over. Known as ‘photo finish’ 😂
Young girl I work with kept calling one if the warehouse lads "Blister".
When I asked her why she said it's because he only comes out when the hard works done.

Just remembered, a mate of mine worked at Timex back in the 70’s and a lass that worked there was nicknamed M0.5 because she was the smallest screw in the factory.

Slow Farah - really skinny lad that used to walk around really slowly.
Lurch - very tall and big and a deep voice
The cube - bit of a square head.
The white mile - really big strong lad who came across a bit simple like the bloke from The Green Mile but white.
Frosty- receptionist who's demeanour was a bit cold

When I was an apprentice, there was a really old electrician who would not retire at 72. 1993 came around, and he was named Jurassic Spark til he wrapped
A lad used to gan out meeting lasses on Tinder and PoF, he would use a cock pump in his car on the drive to their house. We called him Grundfos after the sign from back in the 80's 'Grundfos Pumps' that could be seen from the A19
