They always taste horrible in my experience if they have a decent amount of protein in them. Any initial flavouring just gives way to something like eating starch.

Your best bet would maybe be a protein flapjack like these.

@Lewberry pie Grenade and Maxi Muscle are the nicest ones IMO. Have no idea which ones are the best for you but I find these 2 lusharooney

I got a box of the cookies and cream ones today from Makro, they're very canny. Quite tasty for protein bars.

Read some very mixed reviews on those and the Mars Bars one. They seem to aim more towards taste - although some people want that.

The gym I go to is selling "Fulfil" bars. Had 3 different ones so far. 20g protein and 185cals ish

Dark chocolate and mint is just like an after eight - cracking. The other 2 were canny too, almost like having "some kets" tbh.
