I must be in the minority who think he would be a very useful addition, especially at the reported 3.5 to 4 m. Hope he signs.

Jordan's sale price appears to be diminishing by the minute. By the end of Friday we'll be paying Liverpool to take him. We certainly know how to give other clubs a canny bargain. *

* See Jones, Bent....

great argument, well done

it's not really an argument. I knnow you've probably took the username there for the crack. Had you took it for his outstanding ablities (in your mind) it would mean you wouldn't be the best judge of a player....

obviously, hopefully for the crack...

If it's cash up front but we don't need another Ocean Finance Special.

I don't see how we can complain about getting close to 20m for Henderson FFS. If reports are to believed, Nasri and Modric are being touted for the same amount.

Stubber, I'm sure you already know this - and you are simply trying to be a WUM - but almost EVERY transfer in the PL these days is paid in installments.... other than deals involving Man City and Chelsea its very rare for the full fee to be paid in one go. In fact when we did it with Turner a few years back it raised a few eyebrows and we actually knocked £2m or £3m off his price by paying in one go.

No, there are cash deals & we are in the box seat so we can negotiate. Why does everything have to be a WUM for you?

Lad reckons some reports say 12 million...

20 million is 10 million light.

All just guess work. My guess is that we will have negotiated add ons which would make the deal worth 20m

George Caulkin reckons £16m + £3.25m add-ons = £19.25m

No word on the terms like - cash or instalments.
