Yep believe it is, some playoff game a few years ago. That has to be Buffalo.
Fortunately it was dry when we went, just cold. Some of the new grounds are something else and as you say the Falcons one is one of those. It has some fancy roof that can be opened and closed like an iris :-Went to MetLife a few years ago to watch Falcons / Jets.
Absolutely pissed down from morning till night, got absolutely draked, not an enjoyable experience unfortunately.
The Yanks were still tailgating before the game and gave us food and beers before we went in.
Falcons home ground is unreal and it has a roof on![]()
All new build stadiums in bad weather areas now have roofs that a can think of, can't remember last new stadium built in poor weather without a roof - probably Boston or Seattle.
No, they have to stay until they sober up.Do they all leave early to beat the traffic?
I went there at the end of October 2018. I was pretty high up behind an end zone and it was cold then that high up, despite the weather being pretty mild.Went to Met Life to see the Patriots play the Jets at the end of November a few years ago and was on the back row where there is an opening between the top of the stands and the roof that covers the stand. It was bloody freezing with the wind coming in!!
Metlife built after both of those.
Shit sport forum this shiteWhy do most of the stadiums not have a roof? Must be an absolute bugger for the ones located in cold northern areas in the middle of Winter.
Eeeer, dinnar. Why do most of the stadiums not have a roof? Must be an absolute bugger for the ones located in cold northern areas in the middle of Winter.
Is this a whoosh?A wouldn't say NY is known for its bad weather.
Building a roof over a 65,000 stadium basically doubles the cost, and they’re already grifting off taxpayers for most of it.Why do most of the stadiums not have a roof? Must be an absolute bugger for the ones located in cold northern areas in the middle of Winter.
And yet they almost never open it even this time of year despite the weather being well above freezing there (I live close to Atlanta and have been to December games with the roof closed when I wore short sleeves outside).Yep believe it is, some playoff game a few years ago.
