NFL 2022

Getting closer to the start of the season, can't wait. Don't know who I want to win the division less, the cowgirls or Philly. Can't stand either, still harbouring thoughts the giants might out perform my expectations. Any way bring it on.

That's not a division with teams beloved by others. There's a pretty compelling reason for people to hate all of them. It's a shame that the league structure means one of them gets a free pass into the playoffs each season.

I went to a Giants and Washington game at MetLife a few years back. Absolutely dour affair with probably the quietest crowd I've been amongst at any sport. Even the presence of an Eagles fan winding Giants fans up didn't help it.

Serious question, is it just an anti new York thing with the giants? Their ownership seems quite inoffensive compared to the others in the division. The front office and coaching has been average at best a lot of the time. Or is there more to it?

A lot of it is anti-NY. but Giants fans are pretty obnoxious in their own right, too. The number of times I've heard someone rumbling "New York Football Giants" in a Chris Berman imitation (as if the baseball Giants didn't move to San Francisco in the 1950s) is way, way more than it should be, and Giants fans are a mini-New England in terms of entitlement. Like I get it, you won two Super Bowls, but it's been ten years since the last one and you did it with the whiny younger Manning brother as your QB.

Plus New York-centric entitlement comes off weird from a team that's played out in New Jersey since the mid-1970s. It's one thing for irritating Manhattanites to carry on as if New York covers 65% of the known universe; it's another entirely when they're talking about a team that plays in a swamp in another state. Washington Commies fans get the same comment with respect to DC and a team playing in suburban Maryland.

Additionally fans of all NY sports teams are known for being fairweather and fickle. But given the turnover of their population like London and the cost of living there it's somewhat understandable.

After some dicey selections, South Shicago Bears aims to make a statement...After selecting 10th overall, South shicago bears are projected to finish 10th!!!!

B rating

Obviously don't know Fields is about to become MVP
