NFL 2022

Getting closer to the opening game v the Patriots. Interesting to see if our 3-4 defence of a single nose tackle will pay dividends.Because my Dolphins don’t have a defensive tackle.

Can’t wait for the new season

Love a Sunday night of Redzone
..

Can the cardinals continue the run of hosts winning the super bowl?

I like Kyler Murray and think he could win a super bowl

Looking forward to the season, bit apprehensive as a Pats fan. Big year 2 for Mac.
Hopefully Bill drafted a couple of gems.

Also, Despite not being a Packers fan I'm buzzing I've got tickets for their London game.

I doubt it, between Kingsbury and Murray I see no way they win it all. I think Kingsbury is a bluffer and Murray is a chocker when the chips are down.

I’m well aware this post could make me look very silly come February 😂

I’m a newbie. I Watched most of the Patriots v Dolphins game last season and I fully understand the formation of the defence and offence and what each position does, but on telly I’m finding it hard to keep track of where each individual player is on the offence and defence. How can I better keep track of the players on the field?

Just by watching more and more of the game. Eventually you realise the chess that is played. Formations tend to change by the play and who is on the field

it fascinates me how the can create different one on ones across the field

As a relative newbie to regular watching myself, I realised it's better to stop trying to read the plays before they happen and instead try to understand what they were attempting after the play has happened and just let the understanding come from there. That way you can just enjoy the game.

RedZone is a great way to not only see as much action as possible, but to see the multitude of different plays that happen across the NFL.

This is spot on, the more you watch, the more you understand how they are trying to score and defend

again Redzone is non stop on a Sunday from 6pm , no adverts and every big play of the day shown.

once the play offs, come around, then the likes of Neil Reynolds, Little Jeff Rhinebold and Shaun Gayle of the famous Chicago bears team in the 80s explain the complex formations on a big screen, during breaks

I also like the bbc show with osi and Jason late on a Saturday night and on a Tuesday night late as well

the more you stick with the nfl, the better it gets

I hope Daniel Jones proves me wrong but I really just can't see it. I tried to get tickets for the giants packers but no luck, I didn't think i would. Anyway, can't wait for the start now.

Always thought he was a strange choice, his record wasn't even that great at Duke.
Giants have declined his fifth year so I'd imagine that's him done in NY regardless of this season.

I think he's incredibly overrated to begin with and let down further by a bad attitude and lack of determination.

Oh I’ve read that but I like the way he plays. Arizona host the Super Bowl so they must have planned, when they drafted him, to see him win it for them

i just wish the season was started this coming Sunday

Fair, but off the top of my head there's a lot of QBs I'd have before him: Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, Burrow, Rogers, Mayfield, Stafford...
