I agree. Messi doesn't dive, but that says more about Messi than it does the modern game.

Diving is a huge part of it and it's time to wake up in this country and accept it like they do abroad
You say wake up like we don't know what cheating is. If everyone is cheating then it might be better getting behind good refereeing that deals with the cheats and foulers rather than becoming scumbags. Revolutionary I know.

Anyway, the notion that England are only not winning tournaments because we're not cheating is, well, you know. Shite. Massive shite.

Don't think anyone's pointed out how bad of a 'challenge that was' Zuniga just knees him in the back, certainly wasn't an accident and doesn't even get a card.

'cos they're all bigoted idiots that don't like football. The Colombian simply ran 20 metres at full speed and drove his knee into his back - blatant aggression - but to many on here it was just another excuse to insult Neymar for being a fanny.

Now, thanks to Zuniga and the "incompetent" refereee, who spent the whole game urging players to go one step higher in the degree of physical violence, we can look forward to the spectacle of the WC without one of its major stars.

Pathetic the reaction of many on here and stupid, disgraceful and worying the performance of the referee that allows such a high level of physical aggression - a bad day for football.

What punishment should Zuniga get ? A year's ban a least - same as the ref - we have to protect the footballers that create - not give a licence to kill.

Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari said: "Neymar was going to be hunted. For three matches that has been happening."

That's a bit rich after the treatment his side dished out to James Rodriquez last night.

Aye, trying to chew his arm off using a godzillahopper was shocking ;)

It's funny to watch the sheep on here pretend to agree he's not that good and overrated...on the premise he's dived a few times.

Brilliant player. But is nowhere near as good as some think, yet.

Is that from the same Scolari that used to send his players out to kick people out of games  Astonishing hypocrisy

When you read some of the shite posted on here, you release that the internet is a bad thing and allows utter fucknuts to post their stupid arse opinions.

IMO of course.;)

He has broken a bone in his back, fractured his vertebra, he as the same injury as me and I fell 17ft off a ladder cleaning my windows. It bloody hurts like hell. He'll have an operating within days and he'll miss the whole of next season at least. How anyone can wish a player to be injured is beyond me unless he plays for the mags of course

Haven't read the whole thread.
Neymar is a world class player. A diver? Yes he is, but it's part of the game now. Love it or hate it, I couldn't give a fuck. If it gives your team an advantage then fair enough. The sooner England latch onto this the better.

We are too honest. End of the day we can get away with it and gain an advantage. So why wouldn't we dive and make the most of it?

Only a complete idiot wouldn't.

Everything that is wrong with football and the young generation right there in that post. Advocating cheating, saying it's fair enough if it gives an advantage, and mostly, if others are doing it then so should we. Nope, we should be leading the way to stamp it out, it's a cunts trick. Me me me generation.

Neymar is a great little player, we need more flair players like him in the game. Unfortunately he is a diving little twat and that spoils it for me. It may be a coping mechanism to deal with the tough treatment he gets, as he's not as robust as Messi (who consistently takes kickings and just dusts himself down).

It's crackers that anyone can be happy that the lad is injured (if anyone is?)

I remeber him and brazil at the olympics. He was diving under every tackle and was subsequently booed by the british crowd at every game. Tim Vickary (The South American Expert) said that put him off coming to England (Chelsea) and also made his mentality changr too apparently
