Wasn't the only odd decision. Why does Chupo Moting a lad that failed at Stoke get on the pitch ahead of Icardi. Wtf is that about

Because Chupo Moting came on with 5 minutes to go against Atalanta I think in the quarters, equalised and then set up the winner Icardi had been useless in the same game and got subbed off.

Nope

I accept your apology
That's John Henry speaking at the time, doing a bit spin.

Here's arsenal transfer negotiator Dick Law speaking in 2019

"That spring, news got round to us that Suarez wanted out of Liverpool,” he told Goal.

“We got information that showed us what was negotiated between Liverpool and the player, and in our internal conversations decided that the clause was meaningless, that it was not a buy-out and it didn’t obligate Liverpool to do anything apart from have a conversation.

“So, whoever agreed to that clause in the Suarez camp was being less than clever because it was never a buy-out. What there was, was an obligation to discuss a transfer if a threshold was met and that threshold was £40m.”
Apology declined

Why get off topic with the intricacies of Luis Suarez's Liverpool contract?

Spanish law is different.
"Not good enough for Barca that's why they sold him"

Presented with his fantastic Barca record, and the fact the club were powerless by law. All Spanish contracts must have a release clause.
"What about Suarez at Liverpool then"

Deflection tactics.

Tuchel bottled it not hooking him tonight. His head had gone, was utter shite. Amount of breaks he blew with bad passing or being too slow to move it on was ridiculous.

He's obviously a world class forward though, in the top 10-20 players in the world. Had a bad game, it happens.
Think the last half an hour of the game tainted the way he'd played before that. First half he seemed to play more advanced and central. After PSG conceded he was wider on the left and on the receiving end of a couple of cynical tackles, from then on he tried too hard and seemed to sulk a bit more with every pass that didn't come off. You're right though, every player will have a bad game now and then.

Fair play to him for agreeing to stop and take a picture with the young English lad in Bayern's squad Jamal Musiala because he must be devastated. Great mentality there.

Scored 200+ career goals and won the most prestigious club competition in both south America and Europe. He's not yet 30.

Exceptional player.

Rolls around a bit too much for me. That said anyone saying he is not a top class footballer clearly doesn't watch much football.

Neymar is one of the best of the game 2020. Unbelievable skills.
Yesterday was a nightmare for him. He almost looked a tad inured

I think the whole second half he was poor, but got worse and worse.

He was taking up the right positions, but just didn't move the ball on and/or gave it away. A lot of opportunities to release Di Maria and Mbappe were blown.

Fantastic footballer. Some seem to say he's overrated purely on not being the same level of Messi and Ronaldo which is ridiculous, you cannot criticise someone for being not the same level as 2 of the very best of all time.
