Next manager ???

Why did he let him get a run on him? An experienced defender should know how to position himself and be aware of whatever threat is around, like in 90,% of his games for us he is fine for 90% of the time, which tbf is a much better ratio than Jones and Kone but it is what it is, failure.

The bloke was f***ing 12 ft tall, I don't think it would have made a bit of difference of Jos had a run also.

You should be picking fault with the 6 mistakes leading up to the chance.

Not much point in caring any more tbh. He'll just suffer the same fate. Turn up with a half decent record if we're lucky, and then continue the tailspin looking baffled all the way to the payoff.

Three times today he did his usual trick.

Passes the ball short to the closest player then gestures frantically for them to play it long / wide. Then when they don’t (or their pass is intercepted) he flaps his arms in disgust.

That’s bound to piss his team mates off. If you want it playing forward John, do it yourself

Was our best player today, which says it all to be fair.

Sorry mate, my comment was based on the OPs previous thread title. Wasnt genuine. You are a huge sleeping giant in the championship that many managers should certainly be interested in. (Not piss taking either)
Ah right, didn’t see the other thread.
As for sleeping giant, piss taking or not, I don’t think phrase can be used for safc anymore. There’s far too much damage been done, the way the club has been managed the last couple of seasons has put paid to that.

Replacing Grayson with Lambert is pointless imo. Grayson can't keep his job, but if we just give it to Lambert then its just another "so what" appointment and doesn't maķe much difference.

Winder licker

Yeah I'm not really a fan of Lambert either. If it was up to me I'd sack Grayson now, let Stockdale or whoever take the next 2 games then sort something during the international break.

This Phillips / Reid thing, if only to connect to the fans again. Everyone would be right behind them.

All by billy jones, but the manager needs sacking as he picks him. A new manager will drop him straight away if he is worth his salt.

It needs to happen before Tuesday like. We have to win and won't atm. Giving him that game, even if we do somehow win, is just prolonging the inevitable.

Seeing a lot of shouts for Phillips and Reid. Not for me due to the utter state of the football club. If Phillips returns I d want him to be given a fighting chance. If Grayson gets the sack my money will be on Stockdale or JOS. The better out of work managers need to pick their next jobs carefully. They’d be f***ing mental to come anywhere near us.

The biggest issue to look at, is the negativity and miserable feelings that are riddled throughout the club. It like a disease and is crippling us at the very core of the club. Someone like Lambert isn't going to do anything about that. The club needs an almighty kick up the arse and shot in the arm. It cant keep going like this, or there'll be not much of a club to support soon. A Keane type of appointment is what we need, but he'll not work under Short, not many will tbh.

This is the biggest challenge for me . The whole club needs a lift. I think the likes of Lambert or Karanka could get far more out of this squad than Grayson however they are both dull and uninspiring.

An ex-player to manager such as Phillips, Zenden, Schwarz or Reid would arguably Loft the club in the short term but have no or limited recent experience in management so are a massive risk.

Allardyce would be ideal but not a chance he’ll come here.

I agree with that mate, but we can't look further than right now as we're struggling so badly.
