The Everton game is the biggy ....if we can win that one .......

Looking at the games up to January 22nd . Its possible we could have 23 more points which would put us on 42 . We then have the tricky run .....if we could get the same results as in the first half of the season that would put us on 52 and then a relatively easy run another 21 that would take us to 73 .

if this was the case where would we finish ?

I think especially this season it will only take 80 or so to win the league, therefore I think you predicting us to take that many points is insanity.

We ended with 44 last season, if we got 10-15 points more than that season I would be over the moon.

Are going to define this and maybe the coming years at this football club.

After a impressive seven points from nine, when to be honest I would have thought 1 would have been all we could hope for, it's now time for the club to show if we can push on.

Everton (H) (3)
Wolves (A) (1)
West Ham (H) (3)
Fulham (A) (1)
Bolton (H) (3)
Man U (A) (1)
Blackpool (H) (3)
Blackburn (H) (3)

If we can get it together then I don't see why we cannot get at least 18 points from this lot (as above) and go from now till then unbeaten.

However it is Sunderland so no doubt we will fuck it up, but we can really kick on now. Which every way I look at it, we should be getting at least 12 points (all home wins apart from Everton).

Ha'way the f***ing lads.

Hmmmmm, I've got it horribly wrong with prediction threads before - admittedly during an extremely pessimistic mood.;)

We're a lot happier now, but this is, perhaps, too reflective in your thread here - are we really going to win the next 5 home games, and remain undefeated away from home?

I think somewhat less than this, but hopefully still sitting in top 8 by the time January comes round. With SAFC, things can change so so quickly. That abject display at Newcastle was only 3 weeks ago.....what would your prediction thread have looked like then?

Like I said, even before the season I would have thought 4 home win and a draw v Everton.

Away is different but do not see even before the season started why you would not expect at least a point at Wolves and Fulham.

So sticking with it. I would expect 15 points from this lot, so hopefully we will get them.

15pts

Achievable imho.

Can't see us staying unbeaten for the next 8 games that would put us on a run of 11 game without defeat just won't happen even the top teams are struggling to do that this season , we will lose at least 2 of them imo
