Newcastle tickets - ph.4 on sale 29.12.23

They must have worked out how many qualified to purchase under the 3 purchase rule and had plans for the next phase as that wouldn't be enough to sell out. There can't have been that many, and wouldn't take a week to sort out a purchase.
They need to quickly move on to a 1 ticket purchase history for a game before the mags game was announced and get this sold out.

Wonder is anyone is due back at the club today and fans might expect to hear something on this re phase 4/ general sale etc

I would say that surely they wouldn't be so stupid as to not have another phase when there's a clear clamour for tickets and loads of people are not eligible to purchase as things stand, but this is SAFC we're talking about, and nothing surprises me.

Why are they making it so difficult for people to buy tickets ffs. Its almost like they dont want it to sell out so they can justify giving the mags 6k.

I’m not defending the club mate but sadly they will know that plenty of mags, who had previously walked away but are now crawling back, will pay to sit in the home end.

The vast majority of these mags are plastic as fuck and won’t have a clue on how to behave at a big game - never mind the derby.

The club need to minimise the risk and sadly we have these silly phases.

Club trying their best to make it difficult again.
To be fair, the people who regularly go have got their tickets. Those that go once or twice a season or just use other peoples tickets and haven’t got a purchase history will have to wait a couple more days. The games 10 days away.

3k will quickly shift. Hopefully an announcement later today.

How/why would a plastic mag have a Sunderland purchase history though?

If they never had phases, the most deserving fans who attend the most games would miss out.
They needed the season ticket phases obviously. The phase of people who went to at least 3 games this seasonn was shite. They must know that theres not many who fit this category looking at how many more tickets they have sold since the north stand sesson card phase.

Season card holder for last two seasons and attended every away game I was eligible to purchase in that time (around 10 games), have relocated and don’t have a ST… home over Xmas and new year but don’t qualify for a ticket 🤦🏻‍♂️

This is the problem with the way the club has handled the phases. Should have went straight to purchase history of at least 3 matches over last season and this and it would've been sold out by now.

Sadly, there’s a load of sad bastards that thought if they could buy a ticket for Preston, they’d be able to get a Derby ticket. Some have even been sad enough to try and purchase part season tickets.

By making it three games or above, it basically just removes that risk.
