Newcastle tickets - ph.4 on sale 29.12.23

Put it on general sale to fans with a purchase history going back a couple of years then it will easily sell out
This. My uncle has been a STH for decades, including last season. Sadly, he’s working away at the minute, so didn’t get a season ticket this year. Even if they just let STHs buy extra tickets for friends and family.

Surely their strategy is trying to prevent mags getting home end tickets, and it’s working

There’ll be loads of mags with account history but not 3 games this season

Surely if folk are that die hard they’ll have been to 3 home games this season, meaning no issue getting tickets
What about those with or without tickets whos sole intent is to cause bother. There will be mate in with our support, guaranteed. I've been to dozens of Mags games, going right back to the 70's, where some who go now will have never seen or heard of the bother that occurred back then, the only other time the home end was full of Mags. I will be extremely surprised if there is no trouble by Mags in the home support.

That was for part season cards after the club advertised it as a way to get a guaranteed seat for the derby. The number of actual NUFC fans with a Sunderland purchase history will be minuscule.
I suppose it's possible that some NUFC fans might have thought it was worth while buying a part season ticket to be guaranteed a ticket for the Derby game. They could probably find some SAFC fans that they could sell the remaining league tickets to, friends, relatives, people from work etc.

They’ll do nothing.

Personally couldn’t think of anything worse than watching a derby in the home end at St James surrounded by them. Don’t know why any mag would want to sit in our end when the best case scenario is that they have to sit in silence all game.

polite applause after each of our goals

We will see. I hope you're wrong too. I think the main danger will be youths throwing things at the coaches. Around and inside the ground will be full of police
so that would make the game , "Unsafe" with police inside and outside of the ground, which would discussed and seemingly ignored or not taken seriously by the SAG. One which we I said will come back and bite the m on their arse. Sadly.

I'm a season card holder and went on the site yesterday, bit surprised to see that I could buy a ticket. I've already bought my seat so another one wouldn't be any use to me as I couldn't forward it to anybody. Seemed odd though. Maybe the system isn't that sophisticated.
I'm a season ticket holder as well I logged Into my account to see If I could buy another ticket but It wouldn't let me, It would only let me swap my seat which I didn't want to do

Why don't they just open it to people with points, not many mags will make it to our aways will they, at least not in our end
Mates son lives in London, place of his birth, and due to his father been red and white he supports the lads. 12 BC points in his account for recent away matches but hasn't been to 3 home games this season so can't get a mags ticket. f***ing ridiculous in my eyes.
Will this sell out?
It's looking like not. Between the clubs decisions over how to ticket the game, some utter big girls in our support and the knobs who don't know/can't behave it looks like we will have some sparesly populated areas of the ground. The front of the West Stand seems to be the worst affected. It will look terrible on TV and of course give the horrible fuckers more ammunition to throughbin our direction. Haway lads/lasses if you can get a ticket bought and fill the stands.

The front of the west stand? The lower bowl is sold out give or take a few singles dotted here and there?

Give owa man. As soon as they widen the criteria it will sell out
Wonder how many tickets are left
Around the 3k mark

I need about six but don't think I'll be able to get them. It would've sold out by now we're it open or open to season card holders.
