Newcastle tickets - ph.4 on sale 29.12.23

Was the cut off not the 15th same as part STs.
It wasnt clear about what the cut off was for match tickets only. Deadline for Part ST was 5pm last Friday. According to this, you can buy three tickets for games in Dec/Jan then buy a Mags ticket

Sunderland AFC take on Newcastle United in the Emirates FA Cup Third Round on Saturday 6 January (KO 12:45pm).
From 10am on Friday 22 December, fans who have purchased tickets for three or more home fixtures this season (up to and including Stoke City 27th Jan), will have the opportunity to secure their seat.
These tickets will be accessible on a first-come, first-served basis, with all sales limited to one ticket per supporter.
Digital match tickets will be distributed via email approximately seven days before matchday.
Season ticket holders who did not purchase their ticket in Phase 1 or Phase 2 will have an opportunity to purchase during this stage. Season ticket holders who have already purchased their seat will be able to buy on behalf of another season ticket holder providing they assign the ticket to a qualifying Supporter ID number.+

Yes it's a derby but cup games aren't popular. I'm basing it on this and the fact that I don't believe that season ticket holders will generally take up their option, and, they are the biggest part of our attendance.

You don’t think a vast, vast majority of season ticket holders would want to attend the biggest game of them all?

Crackers that you can’t forward a season ticket to a mate.
However if you don’t buy that seat, it can then be sold today to anyone who can then forward it to anyone in the world….

Utter madnesss from the ticket office goons.

There's more taken up the option than I thought, apparently only between 2-3,000 haven't. I don't see it as the biggest game mind, we used to play them twice a year every year!

Both times you've missed the keyword segregation. 8900 seats is 19 percent of what the likely capacity will be.

Nearly 3000 seats of segregation. They never had that much back when they sat in the South Stand.

They'd not if they were sat in the North Stand upper too. If the club bothered to do anything about the front of the North Stand upper and put up netting.

This is the thing.
I’m all for away fans getting big allocations in the cup (Mags included), and I’m cool with some season card holders having to move seats, (as long as they’re guaranteed a seat elsewhere), but potentially thousands of our own supporters missing out because of unnecessary segregation is not on.

They should’ve just hoyed them in the upper, 5-6k, and put loads of po-po in front of them, to stop potential missiles. Even though they’ve been up there multiple times with such incidents. FTM

Thought they may open it up to season card holders regardless to buy another. I'm getting bugged for tickets I'd like to buy one or two for family etc but doesn't look like I'll be able too.

Bought 3 tickets for the next home games as per the site saying up till 27th Jan... got into the site for mags tickets and it said I'm not eligible
