I’m working on 6 k mags 1 -2k segregation.I reckon so, but think we've probably only got 38k available for home fans in total with 6k of that lot and 2k unavailable for segregation?
So probably 4k/5k left, at a guess

Yep, Capacity with the segregation will be around 45,500. 6,000 Mags, 2,500 corporate so 37,000 tickets for general sale for season ticket holders and match by match goers.I reckon so, but think we've probably only got 38k available for home fans in total with 6k of that lot and 2k unavailable for segregation?

But not all will have bought 3+ games so won't be eligibleTheres an average of 3-4,000 people buying tickets match by match who will be in phase 3.
Does me too mate. But says everything about how certain people think of us as a support. Message received loud and clear.Blows my mind. Look at that end man.
It is not 3/4K people, it is 3/4K tickets sold.Theres an average of 3-4,000 people buying tickets match by match who will be in phase 3.
Even some of our own fansDoes me too mate. But says everything about how certain people think of us as a support. Message received loud and clear.
I dont think we've given up over 10k seats because we didn't think we could sell them mate. I think we've simply bent over backwards to accommodate them and have done this as modest financial incentive to do so.Doesn't the sales mechanism have a part to play as well? This is going to read like a list of excuses and it's not meant to - it took Newcastle 2 1/2 days to sell out their ~4200 tickets, probably for similar reasons around their loyalty points programme and clamping down on tickets being passed on.
The pricing of SAFC match by match tickets, in comparison to a season card, is high. I think my lad and I only have to go to ~13 games out of 23 to have broken even on our season cards.
If you're then restricting the final phase of sales to those who've purchased three or more tickets directly from the club, in a season where they've introduced ticket forwarding to make it easier to pass season tickets onto other fans, it'd be interesting to know how many fans out there are actually eligible to buy a ticket.
I've seen a few mentions of a potential phase 4, but given how this has played out so far, does anyone expect the club to actually do it?
Not quite what I'm saying mate; it's whether or not there are enough fans who qualify with 3+ purchases this season. Attendances so far in the league will have included season ticket holders who didn't turn up, but equally, some of them may have passed their tickets onto other fans.I dont think we've given up over 10k seats because we didn't think we could sell them mate. The club could nip this in the bud if there were different motives but it won't. They're a disgrace.
Does receiving a transferred ticket from a season ticket holder count as a "purchase"?Not quite what I'm saying mate; it's whether or not there are enough fans who qualify with 3+ purchases this season. I'd think there'll be a fair few who've been to more than 3 games this season, but haven't got three 'purchases' on their account, if that makes sense.
If you open up the criteria, I've no doubts it'll sell out, but whether the ticket office will do it (and lord knows what the opening times will be over Christmas etc. for any queries or weeding out mags) is another matter.
Fair point and I don't know the answer, guess we'll find out more tomorrow? Would certainly make things a lot easier wouldn't itDoes receiving a transferred ticket from a season ticket holder count as a "purchase"?
i think if you look in your ticket account, it might say "you purchased 1 item" even if the transaction was £0.
i think the club will class this as purchase history. They just want to make sure the home tickets get into the right hands, and if you can history of attending 3 matches, that should count?
This is me as well mate. Hoping I can get one tomorrow.I’m one of the phase three people, used to have a season card but gave it up when I got made redundant and changed jobs, work commitments and tv matches plus the increased number of midweek games outside of the PL, and the fact I’m down south mean I usually end up doing around 7-9 home games per season, done five so far this term, three I bought and the other two were on mates season card so I’m eligible anyway.
IMO it'll boil down to whether they think they can keep them out of the hands of Newcastle fans. Whether that's requiring a purchase history (has sort of worked in the past, final game of 2017/18 they blocked some people with NE postcodes even if you'd bought a match ticket that season) or only allowing season card holders to buy extras, I guess we'll see.
I'm in roughly same boat. Get to about 10 to 12 a season roughly. Although live in West Yorkshire so not as far as youI’m one of the phase three people, used to have a season card but gave it up when I got made redundant and changed jobs, work commitments and tv matches plus the increased number of midweek games outside of the PL, and the fact I’m down south mean I usually end up doing around 7-9 home games per season, done five so far this term, three I bought and the other two were on mates season card so I’m eligible anyway.
Yes i will, not many sold today so far
