Going to be there at the weekend - any recommendations of your favourite places (any type of food)? I don't go there very often so would welcome opinions on good places - I'm just interested in grub not booze.

Uri (indian, queen street) is amazing, specialises in Southern Indian food
Meet and Treat good for philipino/ Vietnamese - its casual dining, more of a café and BYO
Chinese - King Neptune or Landmark
Italian - Panis or Sabatinis, Paradiso was always my favourite but heard a few people say it has gone downhill last few months
Steak - Babucho or Cote
Café 21 very good but not cheap, same with Six (top of Baltic)
Broad Chare excellent for Sunday lunch, best in Newcastle
El Coto good for tapas
Haven’t been there yet mate, but as we seem to have similar tastes in restaurants I will give it a go soonExcellent list - I preferred Earl of Pitt Street Sunday Dinner but your choices are spot on tbf
Expensive tasting menu type stuff - not really my thing but I know a few people who love ithavent been myself, but this place has mentioned it a few times and a mate of mine (offline) reckons 'Route' down on the quayside is a firm favourite with him & his missus, may be on the arty farty side though?
i've had lunch there, thought it was really nice. had smoked eel pata which was devine.Anyone managed to get in Trakol yet?
Babucho is always good and has a nice atmosphereGoing to be there at the weekend - any recommendations of your favourite places (any type of food)? I don't go there very often so would welcome opinions on good places - I'm just interested in grub not booze.
