Hasn’t took a bean out of Philli for ages. No doubt he’ll be getting something but won’t be leaving his “home club” just to chase pund notes. Always more to it behind the scenes.
Just wondering if it’s within the league rules that Shaun should be eligible to take ‘a bean out’ of Philli as you suggest? Do league rules allow players to get paid?

Not sure of NEPL rules (that’s where Philli are) but it’s not mentioned in DNECL rules simply because it can’t be policed and will happen regardless of whether it’s in the league rules or not.

NYSD at their AGM this week voted to be "fully open" regarding paying players.
They used to restrict paying to 2 pros in Premier league only. If a club got relegated to Division 1 they were not allowed to "have a pro".
Like a previous poster said, "paying players, pro or not" has been going on for years. It could not be policed so now it is all "open".
