However much he is paying, let's hope this is the start of better times for the club.

Yup - albeit the first mention of £30m in the article is poorly worded and misrepresentative too - albeit he clarifies later on.Yes. Everyone misreading the first post that is fundamentally wrong on every level.
He’s paid for 59% of the club in a deal that values the ENTIRETY at £30 million. Meaning he’s paid £18 million.
Does this include everything that the club owns?

f***ing hell, the irony.I don’t know why so many people are getting their knickers in a twist over such a little and insignificant thing as numbers.
The deal has to be finalised first. And so far all we have to go on what only amounts to words on a screen. Just because it says it will go through next week doesn’t mean it will.
Calm yourselves people. Getting worked up over nothing. It’s not healthy.
You might be right.Classic journalist speak.
Translated it means: we have had a conversation with a very well placed, usually official, source (if it was a shitehawk, wouldn't run the piece) and maybe have even been shown documents briefly over lunch (I think we can rule that out in the current climate!) but no copy of the relevant documents or evidence has been shared with us formally to look over ourselves.
It'll be one of the main parties briefing. Either Methven, because he's a big gob and likes to stay relevant with journalists. Or maybe KLD side of things hoping it will help fuel a sense of inevitability pre EFL ratification.
You're going to be asked a shit load of questions based upon this post, good luck. One thing for everyone to keep in mind is that no shares in Sunderland will change hands as part of this deal. KLD will be buying 590 of Donald's 740 shares in Madrox. Madrox will owe Donald the £11.7m he'd out in by July 2019, plus anything else he's put in since. The deal will involve KLD replacing that loan (or at least 59/74 of it), which will be repaid to Donald, and he will probably also assume responsibility for providing funds to Madrox to repay the FPP loan.

What a DosserAye, keep living in denial lad
Seriously- what exactly are you going to do about it then?Right, I’m back to wanting those robbing pricks to be hounded out of the club. f***ing disgraceful that they’ve got that much money for almost destroying this club.
We could march to penshaw hill!?Seriously- what exactly are you going to do about it then?
Was it the Oystons that paid £4 for Blackpool? That didn’t go well at all.End of the day if you want something you pay the money. Whilst I absolutely begrudge Donald making a killing on the deal, perhaps somebody paying over the odds for us could be interpreted as a signal of intent? Far better than someone buying the club on the cheap with a view to making a profit...
You’re wasting your time, people will read into it what they want to suit their agenda.Yes. Everyone misreading the first post that is fundamentally wrong on every level.
