First reply to that tweet suggests he's paid 59% of the £30m valuation of the club, not £30m for 59%.
Saying that, I can't get into the article behind the paywall.
Looks like they jumped on it without having full access to the article first, silly Billy’s.That would make more sense. Not like RR to try and kick up a bit of a fuss first thing on a Monday.
Donald has not made a killing on the deal by my understanding. It’s arguably astounding he has salvaged something from the wreckage but he has lost money.End of the day if you want something you pay the money. Whilst I absolutely begrudge Donald making a killing on the deal, perhaps somebody paying over the odds for us could be interpreted as a signal of intent? Far better than someone buying the club on the cheap with a view to making a profit...
Does this include everything that the club owns?

Hopefully KLD will loan the club some money that he then capitalises (or whatever the term is) and turns them into shares and the Oxford Twins are left with nowtDonald has not made a killing on the deal by my understanding. This is rudimentary maths, but let’s try.
Donald initially invested £5m and has had to put in more to sustain the club. It is without doubt that the club has barely been a sustainable going concern over this last year (loss of gate receipts). We would have to imagine Donald has been footing the bill for keeping the club afloat. I am going to guess Donald has put in £10m all told. It could be more?
KLD has just provided £17.7m of which FPP will get £11m. That would leave £6.7m that Donald could take now.
Yes, he may retain a 16% stake that he could sell at some future point.
BUT.... The club are losing money every week so the current directors will have to borrow from lenders (devaluing the club) to sustain working capital or loan the club more of their own money (Mike Ashley did this). So either way the ongoing running of the football club is costing them all money for the medium term.
This.So looking at that, he has paid around £18 million for 59%(roughly 59% of the total valuation of £30million) and Donald has repaid the loan.

He isn’t paying £30 million. £30 million is the value of the club in total on which he’s paid for 59%. Not the same thing at all.
Bang on. I do believe well have another season down here though.I’m not really arsed how much a billionaire kid as paid for the club. £10m either way is pennies to him. The big thing in this report is that it’s due to go through next week which means they have plenty of time to bring players in to get us up this season. I couldn’t stand another season in this shit show of a league.
I would have expected that market forces would impact what he could ask for I guess - although I'm obviously happy that the incompetent moron is no longer in charge and concede that this would probably have lengthened his tenure. Hope he gets dogs abuse if he ever has the temerity to turn up at SAFC in future though.Aye, I get all the anger - but ultimately, what were people expecting? That he takes a hit and we get rid? Fairyland.
Any hit he would have taken, would have ended up hurting us, so let's just be thankful he's not longer driving the f***ing car. Bad enough he's still in the boot, without getting angry about other things.
Very pleased with that, onwards and upwards !!
Well, obviously rather Donald and Methven were gone, but let's be positive about it; new owner, hopefully a new dawn !
