Not going to happen. It's a transaction between him and Donald for the purchase of 590 shares in Madrox, with clearance of the FPP loan to Madrox on the side. None of this involves the club at all.

Which lines up precisely with that Hardy is saying. Donald is selling 59% of Madrox to KLD, with the other two unchanged.
Well Donald has done quite well for himself then. I'm sure that he is a nice enough chap, but he has been a failure as a leader of the club, so that is shame. One can only hope that he funds the club through share issues and thus dilutes the shares of the other 3 reducing any further dividends they can make as the club progresses up the league.

You mean like how successful Short was because he was a billionaire.

Keep ya feet on the ground is all im saying.
Short was an absent owner who knew nowt about football, KLD grew up around the business, worked at the club they owned and studied football as a business at university so based on all of that I’ll wager that gullibility won’t be the case here.

Problem is we have a lot of people who suddenly have begun to talk like they have a diploma from the London School of Economics. I rarely if ever even look at even my statements.

I can't kick a ball straight so there is no reason to think I am Sergio Aguero.

Unless you have a vested interest in one of the most mind numbingly tedious and boring subjects on the planet I suggest we let the nerds who handle money to it.

It is frankly none of our concern what anyone get's paid, for what, for how much and from whom. Since when was it any of ours how much SD is pocketing from the sale of the club. All we ought to be bothered about is hopefully soon Stewart Donald will be out of our hair and with any luck this new fella will be an upgrade.
The most sensible post of the thread.

That also won't happen. To fund the club requires Madrox to buy shares in Sunderland, or the shareholders to lend to Sunderland direct. Either way, the percentage ownership of Madrox doesn't change.

what is the likelihood (if any) in your opinion that theres a legal agreement for KLD to compulsory buy remaining shares from SD & CM. Is that something that may be in contracts etc.?

It's highly probable that there are contingency clauses in the agreement for KLD to acquire further shares at a pre-determined price if/when certain events occur, eg promotions.

Probably one of the best most rational posts you have ever made.
Wasn’t the Mad part of Madrox supposedly a group of investors from Madrid but they pulled out leaving SD and CM?

I reckon any money they paid to purchase the club, a good lump of it was Juan Sartori’s. He popped it into stews bank account so he could show he had the funds and the deal would pass through the EFL quicker than if it was an international buyer. Then later Juan ends up with 20% of the Madrox shares for what seemed like peanuts. Just saying like.
By all accounts Donald and Co ditched the Madrid group, went against their previous agreement and went alone

Does been the son of a billionaire mean anything? there's Peter Coates whose daughter has billions but her been a billionaire doesn't seem to solve things if it did then Stoke would be top of the premier league.

I don't know if this is possible, but could KLD as the majority owner of Madrox with Juan do a new share issue, of say 1million shares, and then pay like £1 for them just to completely de-value what Donald and Methan have in the club?
