Angel Olsen album is cracking on 1st listen
Listened to Cheetahs last week - sounds a bit like a tuneful Dinosaur Jr. I quite liked it. Very 90s alt rock if you like that vibe (which I do).
I got the Speedy Ortiz album last week and thought it was very decent

Anyone had any dealings with returning Sennheiser's under warranty?My Wild Beasts and Spring Offensive records were posted yesterday so with any luck I'll be receiving them tomorrow/Friday. Can't wait. WB has been getting some brilliant reviews.

Like what I've heard of Drenge, again from earlier in the thread, I think. off to Glasvegas tonight in Brooklyn (support band, the Ceremonies, sound like they could be interesting, too)

Very good indeed. 'Mecca' is a stand out song for me.
It's a cracker like. Wanderlust is a great opener too. Gutted they aren't touring up here, they normally always have a NE date as well. They'll no doubt do another tour later in the year, they did for Smother anyway.
Hoping my Spring Offensive one comes tomorrow too. The official release date for that one is the 10th of next month, one to keep an eye on.
