Cheers I'll add it to my playlist. I'll send those mp3's over today as well.
Glad to hear the Angel Olsen one is canny, tried listening to it yesterday but my earphones packed in working after the first song.Anyone had any dealings with returning Sennheiser's under warranty?
My Wild Beasts and Spring Offensive records were posted yesterday so with any luck I'll be receiving them tomorrow/Friday. Can't wait. WB has been getting some brilliant reviews.
Yeah, they were a nightmare from my experience.
I think I sent them back 3 times before they give up the ghost and just give me a new pair.

beasts?
End of the Road festival has a class line up already, considering going there this year.
Beck is strongly rumoured to be added to that lineup. I'm really not smitten with the first announcement, too many bands that I've seen there before or elsewhere recently. Doesn't really matter, it's a wonderful festival and there's always loads to discover further down the bill.
You been before?
All the photos and reviews I've seen look brilliant
Aye, been to 5 out of the last 6. Nowt else like it.

I think this gives a good idea of what it's all about.

Dunno if it's new but I'm enjoying the Three Trapped Tigers album
The main festival is, yes, but the site opens on Thursday and it's worth getting there then if you can. The bars and food places are open and they have a few 'surprise' bands on in the Tipi. It also means that you're nice and relaxed for when the first bands are on on Friday at about 12. The food is outstanding and they run a beer festival within the festival so if you like your ales you're well catered for. There is no corporate sponsorship so no restrictions on taking your own food and drink in if you prefer, security/stewards are scarcely noticeable. Also, essential in my book, the toilets are superb and regularly cleaned and re-supplied!
Probably my favourite aspect of it is all the unadvertised stuff. Bands will show up at the little piano stage in the woods and do acoustic sets and after the main stages are finished bands will play 'secret sets' in the Tipi which is open until about 3.00 am. Sometimes this will be members of different bands jamming together, or just doing something different like British Sea Power doing a set of Jonathan Richman covers. Quite a few of the bands stay for the weekend to enjoy the festival and watch the other bands and the likes of Richard Hawley and Jarvis Cocker are usually there with their families, squeezing in a bit of DJing to earn their keep.
There are a couple of other regulars on here
What's been the best albums so far this year? Completely behind, think the only albums from 2014 I've listened to are East India Youth & ScHoolboy Q![]()
One question, whats the night life like? been to a few other smaller festivals and the one thing that puts me off is everything seems to stop at about half 1
