I don't know much about Leicester fans but I can't quite believe that your representative of a "normal" Leicester fan.

To imply that after your first season that we're NOT a cut above is cringeworthy as fuck.

You're not a cut above though.

Over the last 50 years we have almost identical average finishing places.

Leicester have a slightly better record in our all time head to heads with Sunderland.

We have won three League Cups to your one FA Cup in the last fifty odd years.

We're really very similar. You lot need to get off your pedestal thinking your PL elite when you've been there for nine seasons running hanging in there by the skin of your teeth. The way you look down at anyone who has been there for less than yourselves is cringeworthy.

Over the next fifty years it's a coin toss who will be the most successful club out the two of us and you call Newcastle deluded, oh the irony.

We've consistently had much higher attendances than you.

I bet you lay awake at night wondering why Chelsea are a European super power whilst you're a struggling PL club because your attendances are similar?

As Gary Neville said, big clubs talk about trophies, small clubs talk about attendances.

Never has this been more apt with your average Sunderland fan.

Good luck in finishing fourth in the Champions League attendance race. Man Utd, Arsenal and Newcastle are nailed on but I believe with some more offers you can do it. Ha'way the lads.

Sorry, I should have said, I'm not going to get into a debate with you about it. This is a Sunderland board and I come here to discuss the club with other Sunderland supporters.

Unfortunately we've had far too many like you who come on here after promotion and start off nice enough but quickly turn out to be complete dicks. A tiny taste of success and all of a sudden you're as big as everyone outside of the top five and your players are all "PL Class" (whatever that means).

What you'll probably find now is the players who played out of their skin last season will either move on, miss out on a move to a bigger club, or end up not quite as eager next time round.

I don't mind Leicester as it happens. They're a small club (despite what you might think), and I think it's good for the Premier League, and football in general to have them in the top flight. If you'd only accept your true position (until you've proved otherwise), people on here would probably welcome a different perspective and some friendly banter.

"I think there is some additional information needed before we can talk about contenders for this position. If Klopp is a realistic candidate then the owners need to be talking in terms of investing 50-75m in the squad otherwise he won't be interested."

What the f

Top flight seasons: Sunderland 84, Leicester 46.
League titles: Sunderland 6, Leicester 0.
Record attendance: Sunderland 75k, Leicester 47k (you do realise we beat your record attendance a few times a season?).
Average attendance last season: Sunderland 43k, Leicester 31k.
Word record transfer fee paid: Sunderland 4, Leicester 0.

Doesn't look 'very similar' to me you silly dweeb.

I think it does if you only count the last 50 years as he does, which is probably why he dismisses anything before that.

He refuses to count anything outside of the last 50 years because in his words its too long ago, but more recent times (like the last ten years ) doesn't suit him either. So basically he is selecting a time frame to suit his opinion. You could do that with any club
