Aye, I think they were hoping to catch the Christmas trade but Covid has put pay to that. This was originally going to be complete by winter. It's great to see progress.

Yeah pretty similar with the stack hoping to catch the summer trade. Such a shame. I'm optimistic all will come good for both though.Aye, I think they were hoping to catch the Christmas trade but Covid has put pay to that.
You're obsessed with that new development mate. Owt you want to talk about? It looks a hell of a height
The people at the Miller homes site won't be happy
Dinnar like. They might be one of them twats who buys a house down there then immediately resents any further development in their back yard. They’re probably buying their new homes on the basis of it being a decent place to live with pubs and restaurants.
I’m sure the the big video screen on the front was showing ‘Opens 28th August’ when we walked past on Sunday. This was originally going to be complete by winter. It's great to see progress.
Yes the stack opens then. The hotel was originally meant to be winter.I’m sure the the big video screen on the front was showing ‘Opens 28th August’ when we walked past on Sunday.
The design is shite man. It’s like a bigger fat Buddha/ZenThe design is smart but shame we can't have more developments similar to the Tombola building and along Roker at pier point. The triangular roof just gives buildings more character.
There was nowt wrong with the puffin billy imo. Anywhere else it would have worked. There’s obviously no need for one as a hotel about 100 yds away has shut as a hotel very recently.
That’s an understatement mate! Not cheap but nice food
How much would it be in the stack?I got a coffee and two cans of coke last time I was in there was £9.80
Dunno but I was interested to see how that broke down. Mrs said 5er for a coffee is normal now.How much would it be in the stack?
