New Inn for Seaburn seafront.

There was nowt wrong with the puffin billy imo. Anywhere else it would have worked. There’s obviously no need for one as a hotel about 100 yds away has shut as a hotel very recently.

think their business model is to operate as a restaurant and pub in the main with a relatively small amount of hotel rooms above. They seemed to have expanded rapidly recently. Noticed that the old manager of the rosedene is managing one of their new schemes in the lakes.

hopefully the addition of the like of the stack, house of zen and perhaps a few more makes Seaburn a bit more of a destination and makes them all viable. downside is that it will compete with city centre of course.

They are doing any 2 main courses for £20 the pair until the end of March.

Good value as the surf and turf alone is £28.

I like a drink in there but the prices, particularly for food, are eye watering like. Maybe aiming for the business crowd who just expense it like a lot of hotels do.
