Ditto friggin Morrison’s. What was the need for that?
Sadly Morrison’s is highly unlikely to move anytime soon.

Wont be out to tender until mid/late September.Who is building it?
The picture is correct, it’s a 4 floor development. I don’t design the buildings, that’s for clever people, we just do the services.Just copy the picture on this thread but miss the top floor off.
We were expecting a request to tender from Tolent for Vaux 2 but we’ve only had one in so far and it wasn’t them.Wont be out to tender until mid/late September.

I’ve only quoted it for one elec contractor but to be honest I don’t think we would be able to do it at the minute, work has gone thru the roof lately and it’s a decent size.We were expecting a request to tender from Tolent for Vaux 2 but we’ve only had one in so far and it wasn’t them.
NGB? We’ve quoted for B&K and they’re using them on the NICAD building in Newcastle. Not popular with the other trades on that job.I’ve only quoted it for one elec contractor but to be honest I don’t think we would be able to do it at the minute, work has gone thru the roof lately and it’s a decent size.
Had macq enquiry in and bellway homes HQ near the airport which is a nice job, hoping to get them both.

I'm so glad it's going to be a 'pub with rooms'. I can't stand those pubs without rooms.![]()
New inn for Sunderland's seafront - Sunderland City Council
Sunderland's seaside is set for another boost, with plans revealed for a 40-bed inn.www.sunderland.gov.uk
an onion dome roof should have been the roof of choiceThe design is smart but shame we can't have more developments similar to the Tombola building and along Roker at pier point. The triangular roof just gives buildings more character.

Would have looked good based in the centre but as you say I think they already had a presence down there.Difference with that development is that it was developed by Tombola and they chucked money at it, I believe to create an environment to retain its workers. To build that development on Vaux and try to get a rent to cover the development cost just wouldn’t be possible.
It would have been a better to have sold land at Vaux to Tombola and to have built on their HQ on that site. Not sure they would have wanted to mind as understand they’ve bought a number of other properties around their building and looking to create a campus style mix of facilities.
Looking good, progress at last, a decent footfall heading Seaburns way soon.I see the steelwork on this is now starting to go up
It looks a hell of a heightI see the steelwork on this is now starting to go up
Why would they be bothered? It’s a canny way from there. It looks a hell of a height
The people at the Miller homes site won't be happy

They’re probably buying their new homes on the basis of it being a decent place to live with pubs and restaurants. Why would they be bothered? It’s a canny way from there.
