New boiler costs

I know there are a few helpful tradesmen on here so wondering if someone could give me an idea of how much a replacement boiler should cost. The kitchen cupboard is big enough so it shouldn't need moving. Don't know if house size matters but it's a 1970s four bedroom.
would like a decent one rather than just going for the cheapest. Is there such a thing as ones where you can put the heating on remotely (I'm not that up on technology 😃). We never know when we'll be in from work.
Thanks folks.

Have a look on here, can just do the online quote.

Need a new one myself. Guy came out to replace a part at the weekend and it didn't fix it. It's 12 year old so knew it was coming but hoped i'd get another couple of years out of it.

Put £2.5k aside for it now.

Had one fitted in September last year, baxi 830 straight swap, cost us £1750 all in. Got one of british gas’s local heroes or whatever they call them. He was great, did what he said he’d do all the way along, worth a try.

Yeah , they’re decent boilers for the money but obviously a lot cheaper than a 830 ( mainly down to difference in warranty )
As far as warranty is concerned I fit mainly Worcester Bosch , there’s is a guarantee , as long as the boiler has been serviced , they will fix it
Yes we only fit Worcester they are very good at honouring guarantee as long as they are properly serviced every year.

Thanks folks. We have had our usual gas man out. He said he's usually fits a baxi 830 and we will be able to switch it on remotely. It will be £1800 or £2000 if he needs to change any of the piping...he thinks some of it may not be wide enough. Seems about the right price from what others have said. Thanks again for all the comments.
