New bar down Sunniside

It's still very hit n Miss down there, unfortunately.

Strange area, been down and it's been rammed, other times it's just me and the wife pretty much identical times. Doesn't take much of a crowd to make it seem busy though as bars are not massive.

Sams bar is a really nice bar. Probably my favourite in town for a good few drinks on a Saturday tea time. It's been there a few years now and never seems dead. Hopefully this new one survives

So it seems. They must be making enough from Sams then. Potentially they could open more bars and gradually make it the go to area in town. A taxi rank would help like.

What bars are round that area and what sort of style are they? When I move back I don't necessarily want to drink in Newcastle loads and would rather go through to Sunderland more often than not. Was never an area I went to when I lived there.

Looks canny. There's certainly a market for that sort of bar in town. Someone hoy up a picture of the menu if you happen to visit. There's nothing online.

More upmarket, bit more relaxed atmosphere, older crowd and nee arseholes.
