It doesn't seem to have an impact on Man City.We should've stuck with bright yellow. If not i hope the players version have a florescent hint in the blue.
As an ex-sportsman blah blah blah it does make a difference being able to pick out team mates quickly, especially in your peripheral vision.
Think of games this season when our players were shining like lights, man utd etc.
I definitely noticed when i played and reconfirmed it a few years ago when sunderland played tottenham, it looked like they had more players on the pitch.
If i remember correctly man utd changed their silver grey strip at half time once at the Dell because they couldn't pick each other out. I think they lost 6-0.
Anyway, after that waffle i'll say Good Morning Rocky and go to familiarise myself with today's Colback threads.

The top looks fine, however it would be a lot better with white shorts. All blue looks overall, well, a bit dull.
It shouldn't have made a difference to Man Utd either but it obviously did.
All the small percentages add up and being aware of where your team mates are is an advantage.
I think we've had some great performances in the yellow strip. Watching the games against say man utd and newcastle our players seemed to stand out from all the surroundings.
Or it was an excuse because they were getting battered?
We wore the Yellow kit when we got hammered off Arsenal and Spurs.
My thoughts exactly Pea Tar, never liked sky blue.We are ......erm cough...erm ....Coventry City.....![]()
Agreed - colour should have been darker or lighter, but it's smart and undoubtedly the nicest Adidas have provided us with. And the colour always looks different in the flesh, so you never know. Still not nice enough to tempt me to buy.Kind of agree.
It's one of the best away kits we've had in a long while but the colour should have been more subtle
Gyan modelled the 2011/12 home kit IIRCI like it. Liked last seasons but this is just as nice!
Also does anyone else think this but AJ is used as a 'model' to show off the kit so I tend to think why use someone you're looking to off load?!?! Doesnt make sense so hopefully means he's staying!

You're talking shite.Rocky, i honestly think the strip was a problem that day.
The shirt colour isn't foolproof but percentage wise it does raise your chances. Sometimes when it's right on top with opposition clattering in from all angles it's an advantage to be able to offload the ball out of the corner of your eye.
Great avatar. Future England international.
