I genuinely hope people who are talking about it having black and white on and being annoyed are joking.
Otherwise I'd actually be ashamed to be associated with them through SAFC
Talking ah ah.Hope we don't go for a pinstripe theme to the new home shirt like Southampton did last year. The way this away shirt is designed looks as though we're heading that way. Sure I heard something about that happening to WBA too
If you look back at the '82 away shirt it was a similar blue with dark blue pinstripes. The home shirt that year (although regarded as a classic) was white with thinner than normal red stripes. I'm not a fan of that to be honest.Talking ah ah.
It is plain for all to see, the club have even printed out the colours for those who don't believe the evidence of their own eyes and I think you've let them all off lightly calling them precious tarts! Suppose it gives some a chance to have a pop until the fixtures come out and then the transfer deadline....Why would people care if it was black and white trim anyway? It's not black and white f***ing stripes
Man up you precious tarts.
Yes but you said from the design of this away shirt it looks like we are heading the way of Southampton, and going to have a pinstriped home shirt.Talking ah ah.If you look back at the '82 away shirt it was a similar blue with dark blue pinstripes. Who gives a shite though eh!? Look at is all swarming over an item of clothing like a bunch of women! I just wanna see us have a good season.
For the same reason it's more easy for the opposition to man mark or leave the attacker in an offside position.
It's stuck on.for those who have seen it in person....is the Bidvest logo a transfer stuck on the front of the shirt or printed into the fabric?
It looks like it might be printed into the fabric on the images but don't think we've had a kit with the sponsor applied that way since the Last Season at Roker shirts.
best thing I can say about it is it's not as minging as this was.

Still, the sheep will buy it in huge numbers anyway, so well done Adidas & the club for the 30 seconds or so of thought they put in to it.
Its alright. And I mean alright.
Is it too much to ask to give us a black strip with red and white trim? Something like this.Logon or register to see this image
There was a time in the Keano/SNQ days where there was rumours I heard that we'd have a Umbro strips with a gold Guinness harp in the centre, no words just the harp. That would have been boss! What a great logo to have on the front of a strip.
Sad to say but a great logo can make a bad strip good and a bad logo can make a good strip bad.
Bidvest isn't too bad compared to some we've had but it'd be good to have an iconic brand and logo.
looks canny but whats with the black and white bits like??????

what's with the black and white bits on your avatar? Adidas were probably given the impression our club colours are red, white & black - because they er are. A series of black/white/black stripes would of course be unacceptable, but all I'm seeing there is bits of black and white (dunno why they couldn't have thrown red in instead but hey ho). The connection to NUFC is non-existent. They are just a colourless shadow of us.
f***ing hell manWouldn't want you to be ashamed, so from now on I'll love black and white stripes on SAFC shirts.....
gonk.
