Can a new apple take over the world?

Apple growers in Washington state reckon their new variety, the Cosmic Crisp, will be a global hit.

Not an iphone, not an ipad, not an ipieceofplastictat.

But a real, edible (lets hope so) new apple, apparently destined to revolutionise the bait box is coming in 2020.

It's called the Cosmic Crisp and you cannot deny it looks just like an apple.

Apples are probably the most boring thing anybody can eat. Rather have a slice of dry brown Kingsmill than an apple. Nice for one bite then so dull. You look like a right idiot eating them as well. Fruit for squares.
 
Sainsbury’s will be able to charge £477 for a pack of six, they’ll be over the moon. Bastards take our eyes out already when it comes to apples

I love apples, have one every day. I eat everything but the stalk.
