Wheres he meant to put his knee? Almost as silly as that argument about arms in an unnatural position when jumping for a ball
Hes not meant to put it anywhere he had no right to go for that ball without conceeding a foul

I am watching it. And I also knew this when playing football. Get out of the goalkeepers way. He was favourite for the ball and he made sure he won it, because he held the natural advantage.
Ill have to rember next time i go up for a header i can knee the bloke in the face on the way to the ball

Replays i saw on tv showed him getting ball first
Its dangerous play regardless

He had every right to go for it. If that had been mannone @ the sol we'd all be praising him

cant believe people are arguing that wasnt dangerous play

its like lunging at a ball two footed, knee height and saying it wasnt a foul because he won the ball before destroying the players knee caps

put your player crushes to one side and judge things on the actual incident rather than the players involved

Your clearly not watching it wasnt 50/50 at all the attacker was odds on favourite he had his body between the keeper and the ball only for to be jumped on with a knee in his face so he could punch it

If he was odd in favorite how come it was the keeper who won the ball?

If you jumped for a header and the other bloke stoppe to control it. You wouldn't get a red card....

Grow up. I'm arguing it as someone who has actually played football and knows how those sort of situations work. He got the ball, he used his natural advantage of a goalkeeper. Play on.

As it is, the ref actually gave a free kick in his favour.
