Netflix Trailer

This.

That trailer made me realise how much i had fallen out of love with the club last year. Bain, Grayson, Short, then the players we had like Ejaria, Gibson and co.

Urghhhhh.

I hope those that watch it realise we have changed since this was filmed.
Ejaria

Forgot he even played for us. Absolutely abysmal player. Touted as the "English Pogba", and i can see why - they're both shite.

Really don't get this. Die hard Sunderland fans making a documentary for the worlds biggest streaming service to show millions of neutral fans and mags how shite we are

I couldn’t care less whether mags think we’re shit tbh.

What’s more likely is that people will watch this and become fans. It’s been made by mackems so it’s unlikely to show the club in a bad light.

Will never happen. Not because we won't get promoted - though the jury is still out on that - but because it is a good season for us and as we know documentary makers are not in the habit of picking us to do one about and choosing a good season. They are nearly always bad seasons they go for.

Was the season itself a masterstroke?

The production company is called Fulwell 73, read into that what you will

If this gets promoted properly it's absolutely massive for the club, even if it's just unilad or someone trying to take the piss ;)

I don’t mind watching it despite the results. Would have been different if Short and Bain were still here.

It’s more how the trailer makes it look like we’re about to rise from the ashes and smash the league.

And fuck knows what that Vaughan penalty has to with owt.
Tbf it was a decent indicator of things to come.

Should be easier to watch following our recent resurgence.

Time and success (fingers crossed) are great healers. I can even watch the Charlton play off final with a wry smile now knowing what was to follow.

I really hope this isn't a bit of a puff piece despite how bad the season was, just because the makers are fans.

Hopefully it will show exactly how disastrous and out of their depth that 90% of the players and main protagonists were.

It should be documented and never, ever forgotten.

Looks f***ing shite.

Completely bizarre.

Should be catagorised as a comedy/horror rather than documentary.
A Zom/Rom/Com?

Zombies represented by the players aimlessly meandering around the pitch with no cohesion or thought.
Romance the continuing passion for the club by the fans.
Comedy, we’ll youv got to laugh about it really, as the other options are just too dark.
