Season 2 of us rising from the ashes back into the Championship will be good

Will never happen. Not because we won't get promoted - though the jury is still out on that - but because it is a good season for us and as we know documentary makers are not in the habit of picking us to do one about and choosing a good season. They are nearly always bad seasons they go for.

As much as I hate Short/Bain 10 milllion for this was pretty much a masterstroke.

Was the season itself a masterstroke?

Thanks to how we have played so far this season and everything surrounding the club I had mostly deleted from memory the absolute shambles that was last season.

This is going to bring it all back again, a group of charlatans and an absolute embarrassment to the club.

Should be a good watch for nothing other than how well our fans will come across ... and the anticipation for series 2

Already commissioned and have a production company of Sunderland fans working on it. Don't think it will be an issue.

I was looking forward to it but after seeing that trailer I’ve got a feeling I’m going to hate it.

Much like the season itself really. Looking forward to it but ending up hating it.

So can anyone give me just reason why we should watch it when it is about one of the worst seasons in our history?

I can see the teams who are seen beating us in it like Sheffield United loving reliving the defeat but the one set of fans who probably won't love it are the fans of the very club that horror film is about.

Just when I was starting to enjoy things I am going to have to replay the last couple of seasons :(

Hopefully whilst the players are on a high, they aren’t allowed to watch it.

Fulham beat us BTW

I will never be able to erase from my mind any of the bad seasons we have ever had since about 1997. Think how I will feel watching it.

I still can’t believe we got promoted last year. After all this time I’ve been thinking it was relegation.

Well said.

I wonder though how much the action on the pitch and I wonder how many of the wins will be documented. Not many I am guessing.

I don’t mind watching it despite the results. Would have been different if Short and Bain were still here.

It’s more how the trailer makes it look like we’re about to rise from the ashes and smash the league.

And fuck knows what that Vaughan penalty has to with owt.

Really don't get this. Die hard Sunderland fans making a documentary for the worlds biggest streaming service to show millions of neutral fans and mags how shite we are

Setting it up for series 2 where we are class again and everyone loves us.

The SoL will be rammed full of Chinese tourists before you know it. I will be running guided tours of the Roker riviera before each game if anyone wants to get involved.
