Need to give the new manager a chance

I know we’re all a bit upset with Tony going and I think this will work against whoever comes in, think he’ll be fighting an uphill battle just because of who he replaced

Even worse if it’s a young coach from abroad, few posters will no doubt be on his back sharpish because he’s a “foreigner who doesn’t get the English game”

Let’s all get behind whoever it is as we have a tough season ahead. ❤️ 🤍

Always we will support the team, but the owners need to pul a rabbit out of the bag, because patience will be in short supply with the owners from this point on.
They have sold both TM and the fans short. We were on a journey together, Iam not so sure that relationship will hold up much longer.
If they are about to buy the players in this window to do the job and didn’t fancy TM to work with their investments, I could understand it if not agree.
In summary they will need not just a new manager but also top championship players or they could regret this badly

This is modern football. All squads are too expensive to replace en masse - let’s get rid of the coaching team.

It's the right way mind as the average tenure of a manager is so short.

Imagine if Mowbray had free reign and we were now stuck with the next manager trying to shift a squad of Bradley Dack's.

With a cohesive strategy it’s absolutely the right way to run a club.

Appointing the new coach to fit the needs of the squad and accentuate it’s perceived strengths to minimise a playing staff overall.

Can it be done? We’ll see.

That middle paragraph is from Lee Johnson’s new book isn’t it

It'll be interesting to see if the new manager can build the same relationship with the players as TM did.

If not, and we don't win our next couple of games by 4-0 or more, I want him out before Christmas...

This is the first time since perhaps Denis Smith's disgraceful, underhand sacking, that I've been really sad to see a manager leave.
I don't think it was deserved, but football isn't about what's right or wrong, I suppose. It's all about results, and sadly we're just not getting the right ones these past few weeks...

You don't get long to put problems right in this game.
