Need to drive Ellis out of Sunderland.

So we've made enough money just spunked it on transfers that we didn't get money back for? £3.1M loss over 10 year isn't too bad either. Where has the 140M debt spiral come from?

Do you agree that he should get all the 'money' back he has invested over the years after all his failings? That's what's he's trying to do, paper over his ineptness whilst still trying to make a buck.

If he takes a hit selling the club so be it, it's his fault anyway the fuck.

£309m paid out in transfer fees, less £126m coming in is £183m. The operating loss means that all of the turnover was used in paying wages and other operating cost - none of it went to turnover. We're in debt because the transfers have been funded by borrowed money.

Of course he wants to sell but not at a knockdown price. Until he receives what he considers to be the right offer, he'll be here but not by choice.
Fans protesting - or even staying away - are not going to persuade him to write off millions on the sale of a business. Remember to him, that's all it is.

Wonder how much the club will be worth in league 1, reckon he might lose a bit more then.

Also because we had to sign cheaper or older players and often lots of them who were consequently crap and we lost money on and pay wages to players we didn't want because we didn't offload them quicker for cheaper. Lots of mistakes about how the club has been run. Obviously the borrowing was part of the picture as has been a lack of footballing success which was down to a bad strategy and also hanging on to shite.

The obvious problem is that we have to bribe players to come to Sunderland.

It's not a part of the world modern players want to be.

Agree with your point but Ashley has managed to run Newcastle at a profit during a similar tenure

He's had some luck tbh.

2 relegations yet he's flogged the likes of Carroll. Sissoko, etc for ridiculous amounts.

He's now officially given up and want a out.

It must feel like you are the invisible man at times and my heart goes out to you. You try your hardest to explain that there is no money and why but, everyone ignores you, heartbreaking. You may want to try saying it like this. THERE IS NO f***ing MONEY LEFT IN THE f***ing BANK ACCOUNT SAFC ARE f***ing SKINT COS WE SPENT ALL THE f***ing MONEY ON SHIT f***ing PLAYERS WITH NO f***ing RESALE VALUE ON MASSIVE WAGES AND NOW WE CANT GET THE f***ing SHITBAGS OFF THE f***ing WAGE BILL COS NO FUCKER WILL BUY THEM. Everyone will still ignore you and somebody is bound to ask if Short is doing it in order to lose money when he puts it into administration but, it may make you feel good. A+ for effort.

Some people have agendas set in concrete that no amount of logic can break.

As long as enough people light the torches it will convince them of their 'cause'.

Are we the only club in debt then ... or the only ones who won't invest in success ... or the only ones who announce our financial situation in the facade of honesty ?

We know we're not rich but we also know spin when we see it. The government chose austerity and have more debt. Another option is to kick start the economy. It's not that simple mate but what is clear is our owner has no commitment to our future success.
