Bit simplistic that though....he was also poor against Swansea...in fact since he came into the team we've been steamrollered in midfield. How can you say getting beat off Reading is anything other than piss poor.....our recent run is better than their recent run. At the end of the day he was signed to STRENGTHEN the midfield....that's why he's getting stick.

whereas those whove been playing there for 18 months have been bossing it

Mate, i've heard the same shite trotted out for f***ing years about players who patently aren't good enough......don't delude yourself into thinking this fella is anything different to the usual crap our scouting network puts forward.

100 f***ing PERCENT CORRECT.

I'm staggered people actually think we have a player on our hands here.

Absolutely f***ing bilge by the OP.

The lad has MR. f***ing AVERAGE written all over him, it really is the last thing we need cos we've seen his type time and time again. It's pretty easy to spot a 'footballer' and he isn't one. Looks awkward and uncomfortable on the ball and this will never change.

Nail on head mate.....

The 2nd half against Wigan and the whole match against Swansea were by far and away our weakest midfield performances of this season (probably many seasons).....god knows how we came away with 4 points from those two games.

Hero to zero in just 3 games, surely a record even for the fucknuts on here?

It is bizarre that they expect a kid to move to a new country, to play in the toughest league in the world and be consistently outstanding from day 1 :-(

A sizeable minority of our fans are as big a part of the problem at SAFC as any manager/owner or player in terms of our long term underachievement. At least if the are destroying N'Diaye they might lay off Danny Graham lol

What a bunch if tossers

not sure why people can never grasp this, so many players have came to the PL and had a poor start only to go on and become good players. Look at Gyan, he didn't even play for a couple of months so he could adjust

Drogba took a while to get going at Chelsea iirc. He would've been hounded out by some of the lads on here.

have you ever actually been to a game tosser

We have been crying out for some quality in the centre of midfield. Quite happy to give his potential talent a chance, im sure all of us are. I'm not sure January is that time though, more pressure on the lad than is necessary.

he'll score 4 or 5 goals imo in the rest of the season and more next year.

His movement is brilliant, hes just young. we'll get there.

we're always slow and steady

Aye but Gyan needed time to adjust to the pace of the Premier League and to get his fitness levels up to speed. He didnt need time to work on his first touch or his general ability.

Alf looks plain ordinary, the fact that so many people seem to think otherwsie speaks volumes about the standard of midfield player we are accustomed to.

Desperately sad. I think we'll stop up (just) but i'm already dreading next season, i just can't see how MON is going to convince me otherwise.

Personally I would rather have seen a more established midfielder come in. Players signed in January need to hit the ground running. Hopefully as you say he adapts quickly and makes a difference in an area of the pitch in which we are average at the very best.

Haway mate, like ive said, most people who have a clue about footy can spot a player. This lad didn't look one form the minute he kicked a ball.

The first thing i noticed was how many headers he DIDNT win despite the size of him.

Too soon to right him off but he's not the solution on his own - we badly need someone who can control possession - some people confuse physicality with control but possession is king, physicality is no guarantee of that. He made some decent runs but the passing of the team generally was as bad as I've seen for a long time.

The lad needs a bit of composure in front of goal, that's all. Oh, n you say 'sizeable' support is part of the problem.... Say that to the lads/family's who travelled down there today. Yet again, supporters are the prime reason why we fail to win a game.

It's amazing what conclusions people can come to after two games. After ten games a certain Cisse looked world class. And he's an utter turd footballer in the cold light of day.

What a weird weird board this is.
