I’m still torn on it... but this season doesn’t help. Giving him a max really hurt the other aspects of their team too. Their biggest mistake losing Ariza for his defence.Seen plenty of internet commentators giving the Rockets shit for trading away their future for 'old man' Chris Paul.
They've got a point atm; When you consider they traded away Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell and Patrick Beverly to get him and they've all been great this season.
Of course hindsight is a wonderful thing, but just look at the roster that's listed at the bottom of this article; it makes you wonder if the Rockets were a bit short sighted.
Bloody Raptors (good on them for finally showing up the Bucks as a one trick offence though)Over the moon the Raptors got the win last night. Should hopefully set it up nicely for the rest of the finals
Then Siakam, Lowry, and Green all step up. It’s a case of Raptors having better shooters than the current injured Warriors. With Klay and KD out they look ordinary from 3 apart from Steph.GS seems to have fallen into the Bucks' trap of double/triple teaming Kawhi.
