He’s injured ?? Jesus Christ how often does this happen ? Delays seeing them for about a month 🙄
For me signing injured players is more Sunderland than losing 1-0 to someone shit in the cup, or leaving on 80 minutes. Seeing this news break on Teletext (96/97) is one of my earliest SAFC memories:

The Beitar Jerusalem striker [Ronen Harazi], who failed a medical at Roker Park in December after signing a four-year contract, has taken the case to FIFA, footballs governing body.

Mensah, Kirchoff, Ross Stewart off the top of my head but I'm sure there are many more. Though we didn't sign him, special mention for Salvador 'shot in the head' Cabanas.

Does anyone know if there is a rule against him having his name in Cyrillic on his shirt? Like in his Zorya kit. Looks class, would show support to Ukraine and it would annoy idiots. Let's interview him again and ask him

You and I have probably supported Sunderland for long enough now to know what is a ''sure thing'' and ''nailed on'' often isn't. I always believe it when I see the scarf above the head now.
But there's absolutely no point fretting about stuff, it won't change a thing ... stuff will or won't happen as we might hope or expect, and that's just how it always has been.

I'll support and judge the team as it's put out, and against what is available in the squad, not sure what else we can do?

Dodged a bullet with Cabanas imo.

Pity he couldn’t do the same! 🙄
