Nathan Jones

Going back to a job you left after being offered a better one? Hardly too uncommon I would guess.

Left them whilst the going was good, was found out in the division above, crawls back to his old job, just imagine if one of our had done that ))))

I'm surprised he's gone back. Their fans sent him death threats and the CEO wouldn't speak to him after he left.

He was too inexperienced for the Stoke job at the time, had only been in management for about 4 years in total and pretty much all of them had been good years. He admitted that he had never been in the situation he found himself in at Stoke before and that he struggled to deal with it.

For the grace of Michael O'Neill we'd already be relegated by now.

If The Championship is recommenced I think Jones with Harford might well keep Luton up. I backed you this season but Jones had nightmare at The Bet 365. O'Neill's had some big wins and some surprising defeats but overall seems to have done enough to avoid the drop. It will be interesting to see how Michael O'Neill does next season, whenever that is. It could be more difficult if he doesn't have a normal close-season to shape the squad and put his impression on the club.

O'Neill has done nothing short of the proverbial miracle. We were dead and buried before he came in and has really turned us around. He's got 34 points from 22 games, an average of 1.5ppg. If that form carries on when the season kicks back in we'll end up with around 55 points. When he joined us in November we were rock bottom with 8 points from 15 games!

The table since he joined us in November to now has us around 8th place, which given what he inherited is damn fine!

Keep an eye on us next season. Assuming we stay up of course... ;)

Happened at my last place - absolute bell-end of a contractor lucked his way into a job in the Financial Sector. Got binned off after 2 months then came back asking for his old contract back claiming his "funding had been pulled". Daft sods gave him his job back too
