This is much more comprehensive from Jack Frags. He played the game for an hour and a half. Looks like the embargo for it got lifted at the same time as the MW2 reveal:
I loved the original mw2 multiplayer. I played it for around 35 days of actual game time in 1 year. It looks like Highrise is back in some form which was my 2nd favourite COD map ever. If they brought Favela or Afghan back too I would probably piss myself with excitement.
I play on PC these days but it would be nice for console players to finally get an FOV slider in warzone2. I do worry that they have handicapped the game with releasing it on PS4 and Xbox One.
I absolutely agree. I shifted to pc and now get close to 200 frames a second and 120 fov. Network latency also dropped from 80 milliseconds to 30 connected to the same router.Being able to actually disable crossplay needs to be available for ps and xbox gamers.
For me its the speed of turn and aiming with a mouse thats the biggest factors. Can instantly tell who has what based on kill replays.I absolutely agree. I played my mate and I always lost a 1 v 1 with him in a private match. Now I mostly beat him. It doesn’t turn an average player into a pro but it is an advantage.
In saying that, you can get 120 frames a second on the Xbox series x if you have a supported monitor. If they bring in an fov slider then most of the advantages will be negligible for those people.
Everyone can switch to console only however it wont let you join a gamePS5 users can switch to console only.
I played on controller then switched to mouse and keyboard. I sometimes go back to controller. I actually play better on controller but there isn’t much in it. The aim assist actually makes it more beneficial to use a controller in most situations. There is a reason why all the pro players use controller. For me its the speed of turn and aiming with a mouse thats the biggest factors. Can instantly tell who has what based on kill replays.
They want to thank their lucky stars there isnt anything really out there of this genre thats challenging as people habe already left in their droves
On PlayStation “console only” does actually work. It’s only on Xbox where it doesn’t.Everyone can switch to console only however it wont let you join a gamepretty pointless option to have. Not sure about ps5. Again people with still relatively decent and recent consoles (xbox one S) getting shit on
Will be better than them over the last few years. More like modern warfare clearing buildings and streets if possible. Love the london house clearance one and the opening leicester square missionCampaign seems to be getting a bashing about being familiar rehashed story.
Yeah that’s me as well. I find it really boring to play through the story. The intensity isn’t there in the gameplay with AI. I prefer to be challenged and most of all play with my friends.Surely only 0.5% of CoD players are bothered by the story anyway.
I usually play through it once for a few hours then straight into multiplayerSurely only 0.5% of CoD players are bothered by the story anyway.
Agree about the london one, especially if you play in HDR etc etc it can look like watching a real life situationWill be better than them over the last few years. It is slower due to no slide cancelling and it’s back to the way it used to be. I personally love it as it’s more natural and I don’t want RSI.Maps felt huge and gameplay felt slow on the beta. Unsure how much time I’ll be putting in, wz2 interests me more though. Freshness I hope. Wz feels stale at minute.
