M'Vila

I hope you are wrong , crazy losing out on a player we know is suited to this league and has proved it for us , take a look at some of the dross we have spent good money on and have became a burden to us
I hope I'm wrong mate, but there must be something going on because in all honesty it looked like a no brainer

Rubin Kazan just signed Alex Song from Barcelona (on a free) according to BBC Sport. Replacement for M'Vila perhaps?

That got agreed an age ago. It will make no difference to the deal. Rubin don't want Yann. He has been left to train on his own, not close to a sniff of first team action. Didn't go on tour with the team either.

Was only last night according to this Prehab. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/36947131

I know you know your onions mate, but hopefully this Song deal (on a free) can help close the M'Vila deal for us.

At least it will appease us a bit, getting a good'n in first!

Yeah confirmed last night but agreed in principle for weeks. Not sure why the delay to confirm was. Think there were close to getting a transfer ban or sumit.

It honestly won't impact the Mvila deal, which I am still very confident in it being done.

how about, just throwing this out there btw, how about moyes doesn't want him. Nowt to do with £5m here or alex song there, just simply that our manager has his sights on a different player for a different style?

now I know the answers that will come back are about proven at premier league level, bargain at the price, and loves the club, but it could be moyes has a plan!

Aye, but if the plan is to take longer and spend much more on a player we don't know, then it's a brave plan and increases the risk of not getting the 'value' he talked about. We'll just have to see.

The longer this goes on the less likely it seems it will happen. I dare say even if we signed him today he won't be for for the start of the season now

If he doesn't want him he can pack up his managers office.

Buy some Tena bud
I'm just being realistic, it doesn't upset me. When we signed him on loan a fee was agreed for permanent transfer. It would appear we're trying to renegotiate the price and must have been doing so for some time, yet here we are a week and a half before the season starts and he hasn't signed. He hasn't been training with Kazan either so will very likely not be match fit for a few weeks.
