I'm fairly sure that USA is a fairly racist country. The incarceration rate of blacks is shocking but is it institutionalised? My gut says yes but that is just a guy feeling. Blacks kill each other an awful lot.

At uni the lecturers actually said wikipedia is fair game as long as you go off the bibliography rather than directly from the page itself.

It doesn't. It says the cop that shot him was white but nothing about the ethnicity of the alleged shooter that the security guard was detaining.
