i have a couple of friends over from Ghana, we were in the metro centre last night when we bumped into Muntari's wife.

Muntari is not happy with the situation at SAFC, his wife spends a lot of time in London. Ultimately, he wants to move to London. He thought that by coming to sunderland he would attract the attention of the london clubs.

Fuck him i say

Looks shit, lazy and doesn't seem to care about Sunderland. Will be on a decent wage as well. I hope we don't sign him, he can fuck off to Fulham or West Ham

Bye bye Sulley. It's a shame, because I was really optimistic when he signed, but he just doesn't look arsed in a Sunderland shirt. Get him out of the club as fast as possible imo.

Perfect big name signing for QPR when they come up.

Was happy when he came as I was impressed with him when at Pompey, but from what I've seen so far I'm not bothered would he not stay...

Spot on- if he is as unarsed as he looks, he'll be no good for morale, tell him to get to fuck. I got a lot of stick for sticking up for Dean Whitehead, but we could have done with him this season, would have been f***ing miles better than muntari anyway

In fairness to him, he's not exactly seen the best of Sunderland life in his time here.

When we're winning it must be f***ing brilliant to be a Sunderland player, the crowd behind you loud as you like, putting all other teams in the world to shame through the sheer volume and passion of it all, but when we're losing.... pfffffffffff......... I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Shame. He's clearly a talented player as shown when he is in possession of the ball but as has already been said, he doesn't work hard enough or seem to give a shit at all.

At least it has meant an extra midfield body in while Meyler has been out.

Maybe he should try a little harder when he's on the pitch then.

Well, it's a circular thing isn't it?

As long as we're not winning he won't get the proper SAFC "passion buzz", and as long as he doesn't have it, he won't be able to join in with it and show his own.

It's not like the rest of the team, the manager, and the fans have all been doing the "PASSION!" thing around him while he ignores it, it's that nobody's been showing it so he probably doesn't even realise it's expected of him.

He might have taken a wage cut, but you would have thought the fact that he is still "earning" (probably around) 30k a week might have given him the idea that perhaps he is expected to, yer knaa, pull his finger out of his arse and put some effort in, even if he thinks others arent

So he's been brought here to lead SAFC, not just play for us?

No, he has been brought here and paid a wage as a football professional to be professional and to perform to the best of his ability. I do my job to the best of my ability, and would never think of saying "eeh, i think a few others might be slacking off a little bit, i wont bother me arse", I would have thought someone brought in on a shit load of money who is apparently meant to be either earning a move or impressing other clubs might have thought of doing the same. Anyway, in terms of effort, he hasnt just been equal with the others, he's been behind some of them- gyan puts in more effort, as does bardo, turner, rico, hendo etc etc, so no, he isnt expected to lead us, he's expected to pull his f***ing socks up and work or fuck off
