Mucky Gray... figures are astronomical

Could it be about wanting to prevent the sharing of information or wanting to avoid others having a relationship with the people involved for his future benefit ?

Anyone doing due diligence will want sight of all contracts, which will include the purchase agreement with Short (in case there are contingency clauses with an implication for the club) and the FPP loan agreement. So I don't think it could be that.

Does Mucky really rub shoulders with serious financial heavyweights. I doubt it very much. Seriously what’s the point if we get taken over by more potless chancers

At least £10-15m on top of any asking price, I'd estimate.

I still think a 50/50 split between fans and preferably a single investor would be our best bet. 25k shares at £1,000 each raises £25m, get that matched from the investor and that's your £10-15m. If the likes of Mickey Gray or others like Quinny, Peter Reid, Bob Murray, Steve Cram, Jordan Henderson want to buy a larger fans holding then even better.

Burnley trophy cabinet is 1 x title & 1 x FA cup. They were in Football League from formation in 1888. A rich fabric in football history. And you come on here rubbishing them. Shameful.
There won’t be a Sunderland supporter in the country who wouldn’t swap positions with Burnley, well run, no spivs about, decent players, decent manager, mid premier league, money flowing in, maybe the odd cup run, fuck me they are on another planet to us.

If anyone is to be the figurehead in a trust buy out then it will be Bob Murray.

I thought that might be the case. The other may apply though. In a sense it creates an opportunity to do business directly with FPP. For his own business reasons or bitterness he may want to avoid that. He said they invested in him. I sincerely doubt that would be the case. If we had some solid football operators making enquiries I’d imagine they could be interested - if he hasn’t blown their enthusiasm away already.

Offering my personal opinion on a football forum

Since you speak I guess you must have the inside track, spoke to Mickey Gray directly have you? Know the names of his investors?
Wind ya neck in. You started being a season ticket holder in 97 so what. Gray had come through our academy, was playing premier league football for his hometown club by then as well as becoming an England international. What’s he said that’s bullshit? He’s gone on record saying all he’s trying to do is pull some investors together. He’s not claiming he’s a billionaire. He’s on record as stating if he can’t do it, hopefully someone else can, what’s bullshit and what’s you problem?

Mick is trying, all he wants is the best for us. As flawed as he is his intentions are as pure as you’ll get it. If I could swap him tomorrow for what we have I’d do it. Thick he may be but he’s one us and every decision would be through pure heart.
Not sure why he would be labelled 'thick' mind. Seems to be doing well for himself since finishing playing.

Anyone hoping for a Michael Gray led consortium takeover needs to give their heads a wobble, sadly. Not a chance in hell at the moment

Agreed

White lightning, special brew snakeys?

Burnley are doing absolutely shite just floating about achieving nothing. Burnley’s trophy cabinet will be added too as much as Southend’s in the next decade. Unless they get relegated and win the second division, which in itself is just a bronze medal, or as Keane said, nothing to be proud of.

mate well other than 5-6 teams at the top end of the premier everyone else should just rap in then!!!😂😂😂

Donald’s latest shitfest convinced me Mickey is going to be an important character from here on in.

He’s already been hitting up the papers with the story they offered SD a “break even” price and he rejected it out of hand.

That undermines SD’s “I’m desperate to sell the club” narrative and no doubt got right up Stumpy’s kenk.

Keep em coming Mucky
