Based on last season, we'd need £200mI don’t think we need £100m to get out of league one tbh

Wycombe have just done it for about three sherbet dabs and a half sucked minty bullet.
Just listened to the WMS podcast and after hearing about the bid that was rejected I’m amazed by. The club can’t be worth more than the £16mil rejected but to want £37million is summit else. I think Stewy will cave eventually sell between £16-20mil

If Madrox puts all the parachute money back in, that's how much it will have cost them. That's his breakeven point. As I understand it, the offer he's turned down involves the buyers taking over responsibility for repaying FPP and making up the parachute money themselves. For some reason, SD wants to do that himself.
Because he owns the club mate. He’s not looking at anything other than his bank balance. For whatever reason he simply can’t or won’t see that he won’t get his asking price. The point he’s missing is the longer he digs in his heels the more the value the club will decrease. How can Donald ask £37 million for a failing business for which the financial prospects have worsened under his tenure.?
Actually?Donald should thank his lucky stars if he could extricate himself from the actual club for the same actual personal outlay it cost him
Under his ownership and stewardship the actual financial position of the club has worsened and. In normal commercial circumstances any prospective purchasers or financial predators would hang fire and await a fire sale/ liquidation and then do a deal with the liquidator and leave Donald with virtually nowt and get the actual club cheaper

Makes no sense this turning it down, he is not going to make more money by paying it back himself and then selling at the higher price, must be a reason why he wants to do it this wayIf Madrox puts all the parachute money back in, that's how much it will have cost them. The figures will be astronomical to anyone or any consortium who deson't have enough money to get us back to the prem. A drop in the ocean to a billionaire who can fund promotion then a serious Championship challenge.

Presumably the club are worse off that way too? The new owners having to settle the fpp loan immediately rather than over the original or renegotiated time scale. If Madrox puts all the parachute money back in, that's how much it will have cost them. I know what you are saying but sheff u and burnley have spent nowhere near them sort of figures. Just good managers and good group of players.Owning an English football club now requires you to have a Literal billion quid to spend building out infrastructure and playing staff. If you don’t have that to spare then you will never catch up let alone win. Each summer transfer window needs £100m minimum to keep improving and keeping up with the competitors. That’s the reality nowerdays. The 37m to buy SAFC wouldn’t even get you Joelinton which is utterly insane. Gray is right, the figures are mental. I just hope he understands what is needed and is capable of persuading it in.
Mmm, let’s think, since the age of 18 he has mingled with multi millionaires who have been players, chairmen, fans, TV stations in the U.K. and the Middle East with billionaire backers, schmoozes with them, parties wit them . Aye he known nee fucker!Does Micky gray know the type of people who have serious money to invest? Me thinks not, I want the next owner/owners to be serious financial backers
