Mucky Gray... figures are astronomical

Donald isn't trying to sell, it's a complete lie.
Why is Burnley’s season successful ? Because they have moved closer to the top. Why do we want to get promoted? To be closer to the top. That doesn’t make us good. You can still be shite and aspire to be good. That’s the point of it all, to hopefully one day make the correct decisions and be victorious in the competition.
What a bizarre way to look at things.

Agreed and its only going one way. SD Isn't like Ashley, he can't really afford to keep us, especially if things turn south in a big way. He may want to stay but the magnitude of the hole he's in will soon mean he'll sell for less than the inflated figure he came up with to start negotiations. If not everythings for sale to keep us going another season and the SAFC that comes out of it will be unrecognisable to the one we see today.
Things turned well south with the cancellation of season tickets, I one of them. I think,as you say the magnitude of the hole he has dug, has finally hit home this past few weeks culminating in his latest accusations about his daughter and his blubbering to all and sundry last week..

You might be right he must know what he’s asking isn’t feasible ! We are destined to simply drift through a survival season next one !
I'm selling this bag a crisps. Price is £100. I'm trying my best to sell it, all someone has to do is match my asking price. Nobody has bought it but that's not my fault. It's nothing to do with money.

The clip on him from talk sport he said 35 million to buy and would probably need another 35m investing into it. He did also sound like he was trying to justify the 35 million price tag by saying you get everything like ownership of the academy and the stadium.

Genuinely confused as to how it’s so strange to think that the goal of being in a competition is to win it. The whole reason people think Burnley have had a good season is because they are closer to winning it than people expected. It’s a ladder system. If the point of the sport was just to play games endlessly with no end goal then we would be in a constant state of pre season friendlies

Jesus christ , are you for real,?? Burnlrts season has been a success because they have a very low budget and are set for a top half finish. They are not shite, they are a very good team. They will never win the premier league, so they have to be realistic, they are competing and not just making the numbers up. Weird how you have to ask why Burnley's season has been successful, I dint think you'll find any football fan spart from yourself that will tell you otherwise

So what you're saying is if you don't win it what's the point? 2nd downward have had a bad season.

I’m bored with the shit he gets on here, he was fantastic for us and was part of the best team I will probably ever see in my lifetime. I would be pretty sure he knows people with money and as he is an SAFC fan why wouldn’t he try to bring people with money to the table. It’s your opinion fair enough but give the attention shit a rest
This.

Haway Mucky.

he's nee Niall Quinn

Gray seems like a slimy self-centered opportunist to me with only himself at heart - no substance

However not that long ago Leicester City were in a similar position to Burnley. Now an amazing series of highly unlikely events meant that Leicester became Champions of England. But Leicester were in a position to take advantage. Burnley (and many similar clubs) might take advantage in the next few years of some freak events and win something.Very unlikely but possible.
One thing is definate though. Burnley are much more likely to win a proper trophy than us.

that isn’t what gray was hinting at.
suggested the likes af the AOL and even the stadium were not Included.
that would make the price astronomical.

35 million is nothing at all when you see the price of one player.
the season losses plus the extras like the AOL would make any sale impossible.
suppose no one knows as Donald can’t be trusted with the truth.

Leicester were not in Burnley's position tho, they survived relegation then went on to won the title in the 2nd season. Burnlry has slowly built, with top half finishes and have never been in a battle I agree tho theh have a much better chance of winning something than us.
