Only on account of the sub surface radioactivity.50000 at Sunderland
We'll be the only hot bed next season![]()
Been saying it for years, they don't deserve a decent football team, or the investment Gibson has made in the club.embarrasing
This. they exist in a sort of no mans land between Yorkshire and county Durham, due to the fact that neither of us want anything to do with them.No it wouldn't. They aren't even part of the region.
I disagree Mr Wig. They aren't part of the region. The north east stops where boro starts, they have attached themselves to us like some sort of parasite.Where is the harm in wanting Boro to do well? It would be good for the region if they get promoted (and we stay up)
Agreed if you're using a headcount.Yes but in fairness your attendances have always been bigger than ours![]()
You'd have to sell out every week to get anywhere near our attendances (if we get relegated) , if we're both in the Premier League then sadly for yourselves you'll trail in our wake, basically because you've only got a little dinky stadium, but it's not bad for a small town in Yorkshire. We'll probably be averaging similar attendances to you next season if you go down.

Exactly I'm a boro fan.he has that opinion.so what .non story for me . Sunderland and Newcastle have more history albeit ancient history of winning trophies and successHe's stating the obvious. Who disagrees with him like?
Good luck to Boro... hope we're playing against them next season in the top flight. They've lost a lot of fans over the last 7 or 8 years; I know lads at work who were going for years but they seem to have no interest at all these days. They'll have to get a whole new generation of fans in and to do so they'll need to drop prices for kids.
The season you finished 7th and also had a decent team. Very poor IMO.04/05 we averaged 30.398, you averaged 27,120
Absolute rubbish. The 28821 was in the championship.
No idea about Keane's quote but it's also factually wrong, no way was it 16000 as another poster pointed out.
