outstanding logic, truly

???

we stayed up by winning the last two home games.

kone was all over the place v Chelsea, oshea came on we won.

even up to the last three games Sam was not convinced with the defence

yet moyes should be sacked after five games.

I've never mentioned sacking Moyes i just don't believe in him,and i don't think he can motivate this squad of players.

really? Do you read what you post?

so the above post, advocates your feeling moyes should stay?

I am not saying anything other than Sam was given time, he even made changes during the Chelsea game, had a settled and mainly uninjured squad.

yet moyes has had five games only.

that is my point. Do people not remember, the vast majority of games prior to the Chelsea hone game?

we were either bottom or second bottom for five months. Were there constant threads wanting Sam sacked?

but now, 5 games gone, let's get rid of moyes, hope short sells up and we are relegated.

it's pathetic

You're just going over old ground, BSA inherited a much worse squad and then weeded the bulk of them out.

old ground eh. Actual reality not fitting your agenda. We were bottom or second bottom till April. That was approx 26 games.

moyes has had 5. there were not daily threads wanting Sam sacked.

why is moyes not getting the same time?

why is the fact that borini, mannone, Larsson, khazris weight, being forgotten. If fit it is highly likely all would start.

we have just had one game of Cattermole, one for ndong and one and a bit of kirchoff

that's all.

moyes out

Well reasoned and thought out opinions are always welcome. Half thought whinges are not.
You're talking about the smb man, give over

There's been nothing positive at all about Moyes' appointment so far, other than keeping Kone. If you can name one I'll genuinely be surprised.

5 games! 5 games!

:oops::lol:

I'm just giving an opinion on the state of the club at the moment, sacking him after 5 games would be a knee jerk reaction and obviously he will be given time but in my opinion looking at the squad i don't think there will be any sort of improvement but i could be and sincerely hope i'm wrong.

Nowadays people aren't prepared to give any manager time. Its impossible to gel a team or implement ideas on any team after a couple of months whether it be in day to day work, which most of us do, never mind football. Yes, we all want good results and I think we can all be certain that David Moyes does but he's got to have time to mould the side how he wants. Even last season when Sam was in charge, some idiots weren't prepared to give him time and constantly questioned his decisions, much the same as we see now. It seems that certain people (not the majority of fans) want to constantly criticise any manager we have. Give him AND the players time and get behind the team instead of the constant negativity.

We're willing to give him time but are concerned and don't have faith it will work out. It isn't hard.

a standard non response missing the point I have clearly made to suit your agenda

I will say, of course I hate safc like this but to say last season was fantastic is simply wrong

we had one home win between October to January. We were bottom until April. did you call for sams sacking during the period of five months at the bottom?

moyes needs time. The players need time to adapt to each other.

injuries are easing. That will lead to improved performance, quite simple non hysterical reply

giv over. Giving him time. Just read what you are posting man, if that's giving someone time

last season we stayed out of the bottom three only till April. Sam tried every player and formation, was given time and succeeded.

moyes five games, none with the best team but needs sacking?

I've never suggested sacking him but there comes a time when you need to stop flogging the dead horse. Moyes deserves more time, certainly. I just think we shouldn't just fall into just keeping him for the sake of it.

Moyes can do no wrong for you, I'm so happy you have blind faith in a manager that has miserably failed in his two last appointments. A manager who said to the press we're in a relegation battle at the start of the season. A manager that is struggling in his first 5 games (with injuries) to get performances from his players.

I really do hope I'm wrong about him, as I love my club, but you're disliking of Sam and love for Moyes is cringeworthy.

sorry mate the time has come for safc to stay with a manager no matter what. You may not want him out but haway a glance of the board, plenty do and very vocally.

we sack him, then what? Bracewell doing a sbragia?

we need to establish a style of play, over a period longer than five games, five months or whatever.

let's give the bloke a chance to get a first choice team out first and for a couple of months.

again missing the point

here it is for you

Sam had five months to organise things and even during the chelsea game, changed the defence, kone hooked uninjured as all over, oshea on, game won

note five months, moyes has had five games. A fair comparison to get rid of a manager?

no hatred of Sam, no favouring of moyes.

how is that hard to understand?

If it isn't working after a long period of time, sticking with it is moronic.

I used to find some of BSA's decisions and in particular his substitutions baffling last season, but now in hindsight looking back at the poor squad he had the AJ saga and so on i'd say he did wonders but through all that i felt that there was bit momentum building and a bit of a feel good factor round the club, the players looked a bit more relaxed and looked happy around each other, that looks light years away now and the inevitable struggle is upon us.

five months bottom of the league with Sam, we stuck with it, by your words moronically

five games moyes get rid finished

think about it

BSA is a better manager than Moyes, that's why he cemented West Ham in the Prem from the championship, kept us up and improved the squad (which Moyes has made worse) and is now the England manager. Moyes has failed at United after spending cash (poorly) and then failed in Spain. Do you understand?

Would anyone really be boshed if Moyes left for a team leader role in a call centre?
No mert

Doesn't know what he's doing or just needs time?

Personally think we've got him too late and he's washed up. Bit like getting O'Neill too late.

Strange signings (buying for the future when we need players for now etc.), negative press conferences to cover his back, poor substitutions, no plan B. Just smacks of desperation already.

Think this will be the season boys and girls. Unless we follow our tradition of sacking the manager every year. We'll eventually run out of people to bring in though
Our performances in attack are the main problem. 3 goals in 5 games isn't as bad as it sounds considering we've played 2 champions league certainties away but I wonder how many attempts we've had. It probably won't be many, which is a worry
